@steave435, thanks for letting me know the issues Actually I had some more issue turning in the drilled cave, so I built another version which will give you much better drilling. Will publish soon :)

The problem is the steel plates around the top thrusters and the stripes. They take a full block-block of collision, even though they're just walls/stripes.
Players can walk into the empty parts of a block, but if you land on the side or the roof, you'll notice that you land on an airpillow.
After removing those, it can dig straight in without any problems

@Tarsis, maybe I need to redesign one to be more round and carefully place drills.
Replacing drills did not improve much. Will work on this as a next project :) I need this as well.

@Tarsis, Yeb, I will try to move the drill location tomorrow to see if it can make the difference. I actually changed two drill location from initial design, but probably I have to think of moving the others as well.

I tend to get the edges of the thruster caught on the walls of my mines, I have to remember to widen the area before advancing. This is a great little miner I found I needed on those high G planets.

@Nortonis, yes, I agree. For me, at least I needed Starter SV, Mining SV, Heavy Tank HV for shielded ground base, host CV with hangar/mining/battle for each stage of the game, solid base for storage & construction.

Yeah i like to have ships for various dedicated tasks.
