After today's play on PIB, I have to say I absolutely love the map!
As I followed the ingame chat here and there, some people seemed to be having some issues with it with random performance issues and ofcourse the endscreen card not showing. a v2.0 'remake' would alleviate this but requires a lot of effort so only if you feel like it :D

Enjoyed playing it nicely layed out map and terrain, Lighting seemed to be a bit off but not sure if its been updated since I played it 2 weeks ago.

Hello. We tried this mod on our Server OP Market Garden. It is quite the solid mod, with my only complaint being, that it is very hard as the defenders to get to the points from the hard spawns on the map. Most of the time the Attackers already has FOB's in place and is on the next objective before the defenders, which kinda kills the gameflow

Hello, I realy like the Bluecoat mod. As Server Hoster we have the Problem, that after a update of your Mod, Player are not longer able to join the Server, until we restart the Server. So I would like to ask you for your permission re-upload your Mod.(With link to your original Page etc.) So we could choose the time of update on our own.

excellent map - updates continue to fix issues and improve gameplay - PLAYERS - look for servers that have the map and help them get populated - they wont on their own :)

Don't know if you'll be planning to recreate the Guards Armoured Division push south towards the Vire-Vassy road from St.-Martin-des-Besaces area (I sincerely hope I didn't make a mistake there), but if there was any chance you'll do that in the future then hats off.

To be honest, I've never been modding any game, although I do realise it is a very time consuming experience. Personally, I do not possess either time or means to put my back into making the above mentioned idea a reality, yet I am truly impressed that somebody decided to show the less depicted events of the western campaign and, more importantly, to do it from the British perspective (although personally I do not oppose to showing the USAF's efforts on the western front, I am just a little bit bored with the narrative that depicts the war only from its perspective).

To sum up, splendid job, hope to play the map soon and good luck in your struggle. :)

@Shrpott, on all the playtests I've been in, I've seen a pretty even split between defenders winning & attackers winning. Always open to any suggestions you have for balancing

Very nice map.
-I may also say the shadows are too light. I don't know if this is a setting when creating a map, but anyway.
-Buildings on the map should be black, so they can be recognized as such.
-The crossroads point does move on the map, when zooming. Other point don't.

Just played this map. I think the shadows are way too light, makes the whole environment seem unnatural. I haven't touched gamma for darker PS maps.

Bug report though: The hard defensive spawn for La Tourpiniere stays active even while the point is cappable, even after the point is taken, and stays active until around Gun Battery is active.

Okay :D Not sure if this is neccecary in Post Scriptum. Ambience is always great. Those explosions are quiet confusing, because you never know if it's ambience-mortar or player mortar shooting. Pioneers and Engineers job is to find enemy mortars and they could be confused searching non existent mortars. Same for Squadleads who try to coordinate countermeasures.

@Lorli it was very common to use captured French artillery after. Look at Brecourt Manor as a prime example, using French leFH18s.

I am not sure, but in 1944 the Wehrmacht used around 50 percent captured allied attellerie wepons of all types in the battle in France, right?

@Friedhelm, the idea is they are using capture old French guns for the batteries. This was commonly done by the Germans who occupied France.

When trying to download on joining a server the download just doesnt work, although my downloads tab on steam says its installed and ready to play. On the Workshop page it doesnt say im subscribed and when i try to sub i get

FYI, on the French Dream Team server, this mod is having a hiccup related to the Sturm Layer Pack. Doesn't matter if the Sturm Layer Pack is already installed or you do a fresh reinstall, etc. Bluecoat gets stuck on telling you a SLP install is required. So, I couldn't get the Bluecoat map to load to have a look.
