@laskjd4 I released an update that -should- fix that issue, but I didn't have time to test it given how specific that situation is.
If you are also running one of my other religious mods this is a doctrine instead, but with vanilla game it's a core tenet.
A spouse is a special case; following a polyamorous faith is required to invite a spouse.
@goldenGirlsJKsM56 I wish I could translate to other languages, but I simply don't have the time or knowledge to do that. Best I can do is make sure the English text displays in other localizations.
To OP, should I pause steam updates in wait for tomorrow's dlc or do you think the mod will survive it?
@Tiny Having a matriarchy means that you should be allowed to change the gender law as long as you have limited crown/tribal authority; which does require the assemblies technology. I'll see if there's anything I can do to swap succession laws in the case that that happens, it's likely that the vanilla sequence of becoming landed after being landless is overwriting your old laws with new ones.
The Amazons are an idea that has grown in time over the history of the mod, and yes, I think the comparison to the secret societies in CK2 is an apt one. In the original release of the mod, the only mention of the Amazons was the 4th perk of the Matriarchal dynasty being "Amazon Alliance", which gave two new female men-at-arms regiments. Since then I've made them a much more major part of the mod.
While I don't play CK3 all the time, I have 1200+ hours in it and I intend to keep coming back and playing more and providing more updates with each new release.
@Rosa It's not exactly emphasized, but there is actually an extra doctrine in the homosexuality category that enables gay marriages for men and gives them piety bonuses for doing so. I haven't done any coding to make the AI form such marriages, it'd be up to the base game AI (which in my experience doesn't do so very often), but there is that much at least.
Something I'd like to see is some sort of integration with male homosexuality. Not a full content expansion, which would be out of scope for this mod, but being able to marry a gay guy for appearances and make an "arrangement" where we both pursue our own interests seems like it would naturally fit in.
@RorschachInk If you don't see the decision at all that likely means your culture isn't compatible or your government isn't compatible (you can't "Form Scythia" while nomadic, you have to "Reforge Scythia" which makes you become settled). If you have those traditions, you're a woman, and you're not nomadic, something must have broke; I'd need more information.
@Darviathar If you're nomadic you'd be "the Scythians", if you're "Scythia" then that's a settled nation. At least, that's how the game seems to handle those terms. You can play as "the Scythians" and be nomadic, but becoming "Scythia" will require you to become settled. I'm trying to not rock the boat too much in how the game handles such titles.
