@Chronos Phantom You could try changing the turning radius and see if it causes any problems (should be fine). I wasn't really expecting to use this in any confined or tight spaces myself, so the turning radius wasn't that much of an issue to me.

but its a pretty cool looking survival trailer though.

just a quick question, but the turning radius of -10 to 10 for the hinges, is there a reason its that small? I only ask because it made it pretty difficult to make turns, whether driving forward or back, while the trailer was attached to the Plutus(Light Tunneling Vehicle) and the one time that I did build a vehicle with a trailer, by scratch (and admittedly it looked pretty odd even with it being my first attempt at not mirroring both sides), and it went fine despite not having limited the swing radius of the hinges.

@Echo Mande Oh I can believe that, I've never been that huge fan of the passenger seat myself.

Ironically, this trailer looks better with the new passenger bench seats instead of the 3 block wide seat. You then also have room for an extra button to switch lock mag lock pads on the ends of the pistons/

I think the DLC is the wheels, some barred windows and skins (heavy rust & dusty).

It does contain quite few DLC blocks from the Wasteland pack, so it is required. However, if you want similar that doesn't contain DLC, I would highly recommend this one by Taidyr: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2205480303

@Lt.Starbound I know the feeling, I found Taidyr's survival trailer so perfect functionally and aesthetically that I had a bit hard time to come up with something different after looking at it :P

@Spite Yeah absolutely, it's an awesome idea :) I think I'm going to add also links for both your and Taidyr's compatible vehicles/trailers. I love these universal things so you can have different trailers and vehicles from different manufacturers all compatible with each other.

@Smokki I have also been putting together some trucks and trailers, which are compatible with both yours and Taidyr's. Would it be alright with you if I added your trailer and the SV-64 Castor to the "list of compatible vehicles/trailers" in the descriptions of mine? The VME trucks and trailers are listed already, but I wanted to get your permission before I add the AGI stuff!

@ArterialSpray1066 That sounds pretty fun! I actually thought about adding a second tow hitch to the trailer itself too so I I could make a proper desert train :D

I added Daily Need and the Small Grid mega mod pack to mine.... and a second tow hitch to the back for a large H2 Bowser. Become an absolute neccessity for my desert survival :p

@Reknot Best way to resolve it is by removing the Hinge Base and adding it back on but flipping it the other way. It would seem when you connect to a hinge it has a certain way it wants to be orientated.

What about creating a version that incorporates Daily Needs. This would make this TRULY a survival requirement and a real asset to any play through.

@Reknot I'll be looking into it. If you grind down and add new hinge for either the castor or for the end part of the trailer, does that fix the problem?

It always happends now. I've tried all sort of angles and settings. I even fliped it upside down, drilled out under it and attached and it didn't explode atleast. Tried to put all wheels including Castors wheels in +32 so they were both flat on ice and still get the issue.
I cant tell if somehow the Castor Hinge has flipped due to being in 0 breaking power and off, so it hangs down in -90 and when you drive around, it for some reason, or in some reload of the world ,flips it to +90 and then falls down? Or if it's on the Trailers end.

I've seen that happen once, but I don't really know what caused that. I tried to reproduce it but wasn't able to do so. Does it happen when you try to connect it in some strange angle etc. ?

Hey, been playing and using this and Castor on a survival for a few hours now, but now suddenly when I try to hook up the trailer it wants to go upside down. And I cant for the life of me figure out why.

Cool :) I got quite a few more builds coming soon, so hopefully there will be some new inspiration too.

@Taidyr Absolutely go ahead. Your trailers (especially https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2205480303 ) was a huge inspiration for this one. It was so perfect that I had a hard time trying to create something similar without just copying your trailer :D

I would like to add this (and any future) trailer to the list of compatible items for my Rovers, if that's okay with you. :)
