It's not even about BL2, gameplay-wise this hud is the goat. The best so far. Others are either too sophisticated (like that RE4 inspired, the most popular one in the workshop), or simply not good (i.e. too small, uncomfortable placements, simply dumb).

If you want the one with the coloured HP bars, you need to firstly unsubscribe from this one otherwise the two will conflict. You want to place the bl2hud.vpk file in (Steam Directory)\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons - by default your Steam Directory would be C:\Program FIles (x86)

Try pasting this location into explorer and see if it opens the folder properly: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons - if it does, just place the vpk file there.

Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out how to properly install the version with the colored health bars, I'm not sure where the bl2hud.vpk file is supposed to go, I have this addon installed( the one with red hp bars), but the colored version does not appear for me, I'm not too familiar with file locations, and I don't want to screw with it.

Unfortunately I dont think it's possible as the two addons change so much that merging them would be almost impossible, as some files rely on others, and having one from each wouldnt mesh.

Is it possible to combine them all in one with Borderlands 2 Survivor & Infected HUD? I hope that you make it. I really love to have it as my one & only GUI without subscribing a lot of GUI mods. Thank you and you are awesome :D

The first and last ones, probably not as they are their own custom HUD addons. They probably modify the same files this one does so they will conflict, resulting in the HUD probably being super broken in places.

The second one might show conflicts as well but it will either use the icons in my addon or their ones.

The third one's conflict is minor, that addon just hides the death banner so you can ignore that conflict.

@AgentDerp217 Unfortunately the source files for the textures have been lost a long time ago to a harddrive failure. The textures in the addon now have been flattened and compressed so attempting to extract them will result in them being low quality.

@Xanaguy Bot SI on HUD isn't a thing that can be modified in HUD mods, there might be a cvar for it, not sure.

@LolPix Some weapon mods include their own HUD icons, which override the default HUD icons. Their custom HUD icons are white to match the vanilla icons.

Oh, and, of course:

Any HUD is kinda better than vanilla, but this one here...

I have a question (not a problem at all, but still):

Why if my weapon has a different skin, it's pure white in HUD, while vanilla weapons are painted?

Good example of it: when I downloaded this HUD, I didn't have any mods on SCAR, and it was purple for me.
But today, I've also downloaded new skin to SCAR and HUD icon of new skin.
And now SCAR for me is white.

...I mean, HUD-version of it...

My guess that it somehow connected to icon of weapon...
Just a question. If it is, then... oh well, I'll just have all white weapons...

If you are using those custom static crosshairs, then sadly, without modifying the addon yourself, there's no easy way to get them to both work at the same time, as they modify the same file. You'd have to stick with the default crosshair, or modify the addon as aforementioned.

Can you some how make it so we can use workshop cross hairs and this layout becuase it dosent work and when i used it it didnt work so i took off the cross hair and now i dont have one

Unfortunley this doesnt work with Splinks Boxing Gloves mod. I know this isnt your fault however thought you should know.

Chances are you probably have another mod that is causing conflicts with this one. Go to your addons menu in game and see if the game complains about conflics, and if it does try disabling some of the addons that are named in red.

This version does not work for me, but the version from the GameMaps link works.

I have no mods conflicting with this, I recently uninstalled Omgot HUD because I wanted to try this out.

The GameMaps version is fine except that I can't read the numbers when the HP is full (since the health bar is green and the number is green)
