@ Hop: Check the gray box with a green checkmark. Use the up arrow key to toggle. Select the far right option with the down arrow key.

Hello, my animation and edit tab disappeared from my puppeteer. Clicking the tabs at the top do not bring them back, is there a fix for this?
Raider 10 Oct @ 1:05pm
@fazlican Puppeteer Menu - Animation Controls - Accessory Animation.
fazlican 10 Oct @ 8:56am
One question how do we control our dong now ? i cant find anything
-Pancho- 4 Oct @ 4:01pm
Would be great to be able to choose between the new and old puppetteer, as the old one was definitely more user friendly and not as time consuming, for those that just quickly want to pose for a few minutes while waiting around for friends! Otherwise, great work
Eleonore 3 Oct @ 2:04am
great work bravissimo!
Raider 2 Oct @ 1:13pm
@Shimmer Try something easy first. Select a character or your character. Choose an animation, e.g., sitting with crossed legs. Now go to "Edit Character" and change the arm position at the shoulders, elbows, and hands so that the character is sitting with arms outstretched and palms facing out. Now all you have to do is save the scene under "Custom" and name it, and you'll have an emote of the character sitting by the fire, warming their hands. I posted the picture a few days ago.

Such a design change in this short amount of time is just beyond amazing really, I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this really is... I mean now the RP community also has there old feeling back but in such a brilliant design... thank you so much <3
Kali Maa 2 Oct @ 7:43am
Well Shimmer, try again after this last update as the sliders are implemented once more... so excited about having the best of both worlds now :D
Shimmer 2 Oct @ 6:37am
Is there a guide somewhere? I got not a fucking idea how this new system to adjust character or limb work, and I can't find shit by fidgeting.
Eleonore 1 Oct @ 2:39pm
thank you Raider
Raider 1 Oct @ 11:33am
@ Eleonore Edit Character- Middle Mouse Button- Blue Circle
Vackbar 1 Oct @ 6:56am
If you have a back up of your conan install that predates the changes, you can untick the subscribe button from right clicking on conan in steam library, going to properties, and the workshop tab. This will stop steam from checking for updates on the mod.

You can then navigate to to your steam install folder, go to /workshop/content/440900/230463941 where the .pak file is located. Rename the file in that folder to something else, and copy the old .pak file from your back up.

The new version skipped on NPC placement so my base rather needs the old one.

One thing I like about the new system is no limits.

The sliders are better in many ways but they had default limits that for some animations already at an extreme elbow bend there was no way to straighten the arm. Ideally going back to sliders and a way to adjust how far end points go would be nice. Perhaps put the new blender UI as a standalone mod?
Eleonore 1 Oct @ 3:00am
how i can turn my avatar at 120 degres make an circle like in the old puppeetteer? Like said cherry blossom?
Raider 30 Sep @ 11:27am
@Melanoma With your weapon drawn, press R and activate the "Apply Vanilla Amin Instance" button.
Melanoma 29 Sep @ 3:45pm
After recent update, you no longer can use emotes using base game animation wheel, which means you're blocked from accessing base game content including paid for DLC and Battlepass content.
Raider 29 Sep @ 10:38am
@Cherry Blossom To rotate, simply click the middle mouse button. This lets you easily switch between up/down, left/right, and between rotating and tilting.
Cherry Blossom 29 Sep @ 7:52am
@Raider , that helped left/right, back/forth, but I still can't turn her in a circle, to face another direction
Ele 28 Sep @ 5:20am
We adore this mod, let me first say that. But, with this latest patch, if I choose Vanilla Anims, I will start walking like a man, running like man, etc. Sure I can emote with vanilla, but to get back to my female run, I have to completely relog. If I don't use the radial option for the Vanilla Anims, I will not be able to just emote at all.
Koji. 27 Sep @ 9:49pm
For all those who got issues with the basic game animation and Finishers i got for you the solution !

(yes we are just a bit dumb but need tho fidget a lot with the new UI for found this solution)

for solve those beug open your puppeter menu and in the "Bone" control side of the pannel clic on the thingy nammed "Conan anim instance" and TADA ! remember tho do that after EATCH animation you did using the DD menu and your good ;)
Raider 27 Sep @ 2:34pm
@Kiba Lonewulf It just takes a little time to get used to it, and with this mod you'll have thousands of animations instead of just hundreds. This is the best mod ever!
Kiba Lonewolf 27 Sep @ 1:30pm
Can we, go back to the previous itineration of the mod? I feel the previouos iu was more concise, and that most of this new things could be added to the previous iu that was 20 times more user friendly.
Jus_Joj 27 Sep @ 10:03am
not tea_- you need to move your DD to the bottom of your subscriptions list.
not tea_- 27 Sep @ 9:29am
two emotions don't work at the same time (face and body) How can I fix this?
Torquemada 27 Sep @ 5:31am
Wonderful mod, but can confirm what Riko posted: the new update broke the fatality animation and also the normal animations no longer work :) After deactivating this mod, the fatality and also normal animations work again.
Raider 26 Sep @ 10:31am
@ Cherry Blossom It can help to simply change the view, e.g. from side view to top view, to see a pattern.
Cherry Blossom 26 Sep @ 7:32am
Yeah. I can't figure out how to just turn her around.. I always try to find the right sphere, but it's nearly impossible.
Violentcia 25 Sep @ 8:13pm
At first the new point of action seamed a bit much, but after repuppeting 20 plus separate posed positions, The changes needed went very fast. Turn off pose motions with the upper left action indicator before trying to adjust. The gizmos are a bit blinding at times, but many scale by viewing distance. Camera position really changes the view of the gizmos, I find now I float around a work in progress much more. It actually helps in that every angle get viewed before completion. Sliders had nowhere near the adjustability.
Paradox Master 25 Sep @ 11:59am
Hmmm, ever since the patch on the new update, I can't seem to use the character editor to change positions of limbs or even see the bone outline anymore. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.
Ragnar 25 Sep @ 7:01am
Ricochet, just use the Character editor, grab one of the main brown spheres and switch between rotate/position with middle mouse button. You'll be able to move models just like in Blender.

This new update is amazing. Now Goonar the Barbarian can do whatever he wants!
Ricochet 24 Sep @ 3:13pm
So with this new puppeteeer menu, how do you adjust your height and width to your partner? You can adjust the camera but I see no way to adjust your character and your partner. We had this ability before this update and now it's gone. This is a critical function to ERP.
Riko 24 Sep @ 2:30pm
After your update, Fatality Animations have stopped working. I've isolated the problem to this mod. The fatality HP/Stamina bonus still apply, but the animation does not activate post September 23rd update.
tonbie5 24 Sep @ 12:27pm
could you please include a guide for the costom animations?
Nexxa 24 Sep @ 10:56am
Can't close the puppeteer menu without a fatal error now.
dodo973 23 Sep @ 2:31pm
@raider oh for poses its great. Just worried it doesn't "enhance RP" but more slow it to a crawl when you need some much effort to adjust a simple head or arm placement when pairing emotes with bigger players for example.

The old system felt more focused on quick rp emotes while this feels like a sidegrade to second life style screenshot posing
Raider 23 Sep @ 2:15pm
@dodo973 The idea of creating your own is a great one. It just needs a file-sharing platform. With little prior knowledge, I managed to expand and save an existing scene. It took 15 minutes. I hope I'll get even better. The possibilities are fantastic.
dodo973 23 Sep @ 1:55pm
What i mean with my earlier comment is that the lack of the custom sliders will slow rp to a crawl
dodo973 23 Sep @ 1:37pm
The custom poses idea is fun but will the devs now stop making new poses
Like just telling people to make their own emotes?

Feels like Bethesda haha
Kali Maa 23 Sep @ 1:08pm
I really appreciate how smooth and fluid the movements feel after the update, but the on-screen balls are very intrusive, especially in dark, atmospheric environments. With the old sliders I could make subtle adjustments easily without breaking immersion, while now the bright balls dominate my view and make it harder to focus.

It would be wonderful to have the option to bring back sliders or direct number adjustments — they were simple, clear, and let me control movements like nodding naturally without things feeling exaggerated or awkward.

I love the improvements in fluidity, but I miss the clarity and usability of the old system. A mix of both would be perfect.
Raider 23 Sep @ 12:59pm
First of all, thank you so much for still working on this mod; I think that's not something to be taken for granted. You're bringing great joy to the players of this game.

P.S. Whoever feels called to do this (whether creator or player), please, please, please create a YouTube tutorial on creating scenes.
AzFAe 23 Sep @ 12:52pm
So first thought: "Ahhhh!"
Second thought: "I love it!"

Beeing used to the previous version of Puppeteer, the new one seemed very overwhelming at first. But after a little getting used to it, I think poisitioning your character straight on the body and not on some sliders is a great change. All the options I tried to far seem very intuitive.

I love the detail and am looking forward to future updates!
Avermere 23 Sep @ 12:35pm
This new system is interesting, certainly! But it unfortunately also BREAKS quite easily.
I don't know if anybody else is having this issue, however...

- Attempting to target your bones in Edit Character does not work, if your character is -large-. This is likely a collision issue with the bones not being able to be targeted through layers. A good fix to this would be making the bone nodes always appear on top.

- The same issue happens with the vertical arrow, as it appears stuck inside the character's body and cannot be targeted.

I echo the thoughts of others, that the original version of Puppeteer would be preferred. Particularly in the meantime, as this update appears to have broken some of the functionality.
Eleonore 23 Sep @ 12:31pm
hello i think like tomekk the oldpuppeeter was better
Tomekk 23 Sep @ 12:06pm
Can we have the option to use the old puppeteer? I don't want to pose individual facial muscles and fingers, and I don't work as an animator. Thanks!
Roadkill 23 Sep @ 10:53am
Can we get an option to revert the puppet menu back to the previous version, the new one looks overly convoluted and small in comparison. I am unsure why you didn't maintain the one you had and just add a new tab to it for the new stuff instead of complicating it the way you have.
Kira 23 Sep @ 9:15am
Hello dear programer ... i have a Question and a request ... i only got one eye because of eye-cancer and the old menu was small but barly good to see for me .... the new one is so damn small that its impossible for me to see a thing .... is there a way to fix that so i can make it bigger and better to watch for me ? thx kira

rocknroll07 14 Sep @ 8:21am
how do i use the restraint system to target thralls? I see only myself and not any nearby thrall.
Thavius Ryujin 8 Sep @ 3:53am
Trying to work with this mod and it seems that whenever I try to do partner scenes the thumbnail images show up for about a second then disappear. I have uninstalled the mod and reinstalled, same problem. suggestions?
Bloodartist 4 Sep @ 3:27am
Hey, is there a way to apply single-character animation on a thrall? I cant seem to find a way to do it.
