The main reason I haven't posted it is cause I have an old pc that likes corrupting the file every time I try to post. Sorry about that but I gave you the instructions on how I did it. So I hope that helps

If you do it all just right the presidium ring will contract and will have the citadel close using less world space. This will increase the game performance as when it is closed you will be able to move it via thrusters, only if you used blast door blocks on the arm edges, and have several connectors or merge blocks on each end of the arms. These will lock the arms in place, preventing dare I say it, Clang. I built the citadel on a 1:50 scale, using the mod mentioned, and the dx9 32bit beta, and I can dock my Titan class command ship with it. Then I simply connect to the remote control block in the spire and close it up.after I lock every thing down I'm able to move at a top speed of 68.3.

To build citidel build in the following order.
1 build arm of the citadel. If you want to include buildings, don't use mods AT ALL. Simply make it large enough to be to scale with the rest of the citadel.
2 copy the arm and paste four more arms.
3 at this point take 2 saves, as you might need a backup save in place.
4 Exit the game and get the conveyor hinges mod. build the presidium ring and the docks. You will have to use the conveyor hinges mod for this.

thats whats taking so long, its so big and to scale it down and leave it working is a big challenge

@Warlord1472 You are going to build the citadel? I ran some tests if it was possible and came to the conclusion a 1:50 scale is the best size. How are you planning to do this?
