Ahem, here's another version.

When I saw the Curiosity buff duration being reduced, my heart almost shattered. To me, Curiosity has always been one of the most defining traits of the ant tribe. It represents the side of these pawns that sets them apart—beyond the rigid instincts of the collective, there is still agility, imagination, and wisdom.

But with the shortened duration, I can almost picture it: newborn ant pawns, carrying innocence and curiosity, barely given the chance to explore the world, forced instead under the weight of rigid dogma, survival, and war. It feels as if the vibrant spark of their souls is pressed down too soon, smothered by the demands of order and necessity.

I’d like to give some feedback about the Curiosity buff:

The buff duration was reduced from over 100 days to 45 days, which is not enough to cover a pawn’s growth cycle (180 days). By the time of the first or second growth stage, the buff is basically gone.

In fact, the buff doesn’t even last a full 1080 hours, since its effect decreases over time. After about 100 hours, it becomes almost ineffective.

If several pawns are born around the same time, during their first growth stage it’s easy for them to not gain enough learning progress, resulting in too few interest to choose. This makes it very hard to carefully raise pawns.

It might be better to extend the buff duration, at least long enough to cover the growth stage, so that its effect feels more interest and meaningful.

Also the texture issue is not visible in my environment.
Regenerate your DDS/ZSTD.
If you ask me questions about DDS/ZSTD regeneration, I will delete them.
You should figure out how to use the mod you're using yourself.

is it intended for acid line rifle to have shorter range (20) than acid rifle (31) and acid assault rifle(35)?

Would it be possible for the squeeze corpse to look for only the aphid extract and not meat in total? So I can have butcher for meat but aphid for the exoskeleton miners, this way I cant put it on do until X cuz I always butcher for meat

hello, why is anty symbiosis faction relation -100 permenent enemy and standard relation -50
but anty aggrresion faction relation -80 at start and standard relation -180? i assume it currently swapped naming. so i writing this. is this normal?

这个十人迫降开局是真的疯狂,地图全随机,生存还是死亡全靠运气,难度也很高,直接连着失败四局游戏,非常建议体验,但不建议开五倍以上袭击难度。
我觉得增加落地地形限制会更好,有时候直接降落到污染区去了。

@Rime-Low you can start with specialized ant right away if you change their xenotype during character selection at the start of the run. but you must note that they are eating more food than the regular one.

@Prancyde For the Ant eggs, it's more about which egg you are going to produce, you cannot create a different gene and ant can't inherit genes. They are born differents Ants. For now there is for now 6 differents ants, the first you get is the normal one and then later specialise ants

This mod is the reason why I always come back to this game.
The cruelest way to kill and exploit your opponent and weak.

Rimworld is a good game, but the Anty race is like a fun extension and I can't play without it.

Restore initialization jelly
Optimize some code ticks
Fix bugs in exoskeleton automatic mining
Detailed item categories for anty eggs and other products
Reset bullets for anty acid weapons
Optimize firing effects for anty weapons
Removed a lot of dummy data
Changed anty saliva walls, anti-impact walls, and anti-impact doors to support 1.6 construction options
Attachments can now be attached to saliva walls

Right now 1.6 is an unstable version and I don't want to jump in here right now and have a chat with the duplicate bug reporters.

The 1.6 release of each race mod will be decided after the official 1.6 release of RimWorld.
