The Alco PA series is often described as the most beautiful and aesthetic diesel locomotive ever built. P stands for "passenger" and A means "with driver's cab".

So pleased to see these two here - the Ivatt Society is planning a recreation of one. Also, I used to work in Tring and I think I'd remember if it had such a massive train shed! :-)
