@Jixxor Vacsuits are wrongly defined as medieval in the game. I have reported it to the devs and it will be fixed in the next game update.

I have the mod set to remove all items, research, factions and pawns Industrial and above but I keep getting Vac helmets offered as quest rewards. Is Odyssey content not covered yet or is my modlist to blame?

I have no idea how I could test this issue with just this mod active. Maybe 1% of quests offered Vac equipment so far. I do fully understand tho if this is still too little to work with. I'm mostly just curious if this mod, when working as intended, removes Vac equipment.

Just because I saw the comment below, I also somehow received 5 components - I believe it was from salvaging a crashlanded shuttle from an Empire quest.

Does this work with backstories upon character creation (filtering out high tech backstories) and backstories while playing (generating raid pawns, etc)?

I'm still getting some industrial+ stuff like components, psychic emanator, neutro, genepacks, that I have to cherrypick out.

The unfortunate thing is this mod appears to have had an issue where it just outright deleted all factions from spawning, even ones added in medieval overhaul and tribal factions. Due to this just ended up with a blank world

Hi, I am trying to do a western rp but I dont want to include "rimworld westernization" mod clothing, items, etc. Can I change this by deleting some files of the "steam world" or "remove industrial stuff" modes? If such a thing can be done, what files do I need to change/delete for this?

This mod would be great, but sadly when I add it to my game it completely kills my TPS and Framerate. I haven't yet been able to ascertain why, and there's nothing in the console or logging that indicates what it's interacting poorly with. I'm out of ideas.

@none I dont see anything about this mod in your log. You have references to non-existing items. Either one of your other mods reference these things or your save does. I suggest that you try to find out what other mod in your setup is referencing these things.

mlie is there any way to stop my logs from being spammed with how industrial stuff from mods that i don't have on are not existing like here:https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/753bcf7d0ab90c72b1ebc4f4cbfeb5f1 its saying the verse def for compressed concrete and ammo packs don't exist i don't know why its saying this if i didnt even currently have the mod on? it also says the same thing for none modded items i don't know if it spamming this does anything would it cause lag? otherwise i don't mind this.

I thought rimedieval did what this mod does but for some reason it doesn't. I don't know if it's my load order or what. This mod works just fine at restricting tech to below industrial. Awesome. Thanks.

@cookiez It removes anything with techlevel defined as Industrial or higher. I dont use the VE stuff so cannot say what they have defined their stuff as.

Does this mod also affect mods that have 'industrial stuff' too? Like it will remove Vanilla Expanded industrial stuff?

Hey Mlie, did you made any mod that remove Modern Stuff? Hunting rifle and revolver okay but not assasult rifle or flak armour. I wanted to use for my western run hate seeing Submachine guns or uzis around people.

Thanks very much! I figured I'd also comment here for now. I'm not 100% this mod is often used with those mod packs though. They have the essence of this mod built in when you use them so this may be a niche problem.

Hey just a heads up for anyone running this with Medieval Overhaul and RImFantasy. You'll notice strange behaviors as both mods sometimes "re-flavor" industrial or higher items as a medieval or fantasy version.

For example, healing potions are just healer mech serums. They're a pretty common reward. If you run this mod, you'll see them appear on a map but if you reload your save, they will disappear.

not blaming your mod for coming short, it works as well as it can. just a warning to other users that this mod might not be enough if they want a true medieval-only playthrough when using mods not designed for it.

@Lumi MercuryDoll It removes all things based on their tech-level. Some things do not have tech-level set so these will be left. Its really up to the creators of content to set the correct tech-level

As good as it is, it sadly is no catch-all. Modded factions can still spawn with powerarmor and miniguns, storytellers still reward you with orbital lasers and some items that you thought were neolithic/medieval were in fact not and disappear the next time you reload your save and watch in horror as your pawns are now unfunctional.

@Oogdan Please dont use both mods as this mods removes all industrial and above tech-items. Using the spacer-mod as well can cause issues

I am still getting high tech quest rewards even though I have both this mod and the remove spacer. Does this not remove the tech from quest rewards, or is my game bugged?

@GotWeenies It should, but you can just remove the mechanoid faction when you start a new game.
