pretty cool won't lie, but I couldn't pick up the lantern and the gap part was weird, but at least there were matches so I could progress...

Great job on the maps. By the way I'm hoping people stop complaining about the lack of matches and their mechanics. I had bunch of matches and I wasnt rushing this. Matches are the good shit.

Pretty good so far. I'm assuming it ended at the Ghul part in the hallway since the game redirected me straight to the main menu after. It's a good teaser for sure. We need more matches/light options and the lantern I can't even pick up at the beginning but the atmosphere is really good!

I used up all my matches in the first area then didn't have any left for the EXTREMELY dark areas, so I couldn't progress, as I couldn't see a thing... need more lights in the level

@HalfTex I first opened the Level editor on Nov.13, And on Nov.14 or 15 I started doing the scripts. So it took about 5-6 days.

This was great! I really liked the environments and atmosphere! It definitely reminded me of the good old days of TDD custom stories. The castle setting (and that last hallway especially) made it feel like a mix between both old Amnesia and the new one.

As some other people pointed out already it sounds great. But one little thing though is that there are only matches as a light source, and when I played I instinctively started sweeping each new room looking for something to light, but there were very few candles/torches etc around the level, which made it so I just wasted matches to the point where I practically couldn't see anything.
But also, the darkness in that last corridor when I was out of matches made it super spooky. I don't know if its possible, but maybe you could make it so your lantern/match goes out by itself after walking a while down the hallway, before the monster encounter?

Anyway, I look forward to seeing the full version! Awesome work! :blryes:

@Tunc_Daddy The slowing movement is for 2 things, the board to give it a more realistic effect and the other thing was that I could jump over the hole. The night vision I don't think that I will buff it because it ruins the gameplay and I will add lantern and matches that you can find in hidden places. (this map has 7 matchboxes + 1 match when you start) And about Tasi's reactions is that some people found it boring in the main game but I will may add some gasps to some events.

@Shifty Yes I felt the same way that the first 2 rooms were small. I will make the movement easier esspecialy in the first room.

Finally, there is some custom story for this game, even if it is Teaser, i have to say, that i am really glad, that some people out there are doing Custom Stories for Rebirth.

I thought, that there are going to be Custom Stories only for Dark Descent.

I really like this Custom Story, it is spooky, sounds are great, because I nearly shit myself, when i was in that long hallway and heard some really loud noise, then i realized that it was Ghul.

I am really excited for Full Version of this Custom Story,

I tried to do some Custom Story for Amnesia: Rebirth myself, but after i saw that Level Editor and tried to create something, i realized, that i should leave this to some creators, that have some experience from creating Custom Stories in Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

I want to ask, how long did it take for you to make this Teaser?

Really nicely made. Environment looks amazing. Pretty much nailed the Amnesia aesthetic and is still spooky even in it's current state.

Only cons that stand out are how tight the area feels. Just enough space to move around in the first two rooms (excluding the bridge area) and hazardous. The starter area is difficult to move around in.

Excited to see the next one :>

Some people are having a problem at the bridge/fog part. It's not the end of the map, the solution for the bridge part is in the first room where you spawn in.
