☦Orthodox☦Defender☦ 5 Jun, 2022 @ 12:10pm
can you add focusses for greece?
Solero 13 Dec, 2021 @ 6:15am
is there a chance you'll update this?
I mean it works fine, its just that you lose the chief of navy and airforce with NSB as greece

Im sorry, I've been pretty busy. It should still work even if the game is saying it doesn't. If not I'll take a look
☦Orthodox☦Defender☦ 9 Mar, 2021 @ 10:17am

☦Orthodox☦Defender☦ 23 Feb, 2021 @ 11:35am

Weird, the mod doesn't edit the generic focus files so it might be an issue with those mods.
Gandalf the Purple 25 Jan, 2021 @ 2:16am
this mod seems to conflict with generic nation focus tree mods?
Gage I  [author] 29 Dec, 2020 @ 8:18am
It only fixes a few focuses. I'll take a look again and make some adjustments

Does this mod fix the issue with Bulgaria or Turkey completing focuses as puppets?
Gage I  [author] 28 Dec, 2020 @ 7:24pm
Thanks! I'll think of some more ideas to add in the future
Whoopty 28 Dec, 2020 @ 6:04pm
Can you add more to greece pls!!!
love this mod, keep up the great wrok
Gage I  [author] 10 Dec, 2020 @ 10:27am
Hey thank you! That means a lot! I never even thought about that, I'm working on another mod as of right now, but upon finishing I think I might make a quick update that adds a section for that and the other fixes people have added.

This is one of my favourite mods for hoi4. I hope you keep working on it. I would like to see a very well made Saadabad pact path for turkey, on the level of Balkan pact.
Gage I  [author] 22 Nov, 2020 @ 8:10am
Thanks for the offer! I really appreciate it because I can't do portraits if my life depended on it. I'll add you on steam and let you know if I need it.

If you really do end up trying to implement Ahmet Nahit in this mod, I’d be happy to contribute a portrait for him if you’re interested?
Gage I  [author] 22 Nov, 2020 @ 3:55am
That's a good idea, I'll look into what I can do.

Hey there, I have a request concerning the Ottoman restoration: would it be possible to add Ahmet IV (as he would have styled himself) as a potential alternative to Dürrüşehvar after the death of Abdulmejid?
Gage I  [author] 21 Nov, 2020 @ 12:00pm
Thank you!
Anonemus 21 Nov, 2020 @ 11:46am
Great mod! I was waiting for something to fix the rather short Byzantine path.
Dra 21 Nov, 2020 @ 7:49am
ah i see, thanks
Gage I  [author] 20 Nov, 2020 @ 5:35am
Sorry, I read the question wrong in my previous reply. To answer your question, the focuses required to get to the Ottoman path are basically cut in half. Before hand, you needed the Saadabat pact focus line to get to Looking Outwards, where as now I have cut that requirement making that side of the focus tree an optional path.
Dra 20 Nov, 2020 @ 3:27am
hey, it might be just me but i dont get whats different about the ottoman path, it still requires the "Looking Outwords" focus, am i missing something ?
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 8:30pm
oh its nothing, your mod enhances by a thousand times over the dlc that got me back into hoi4, so for that you have my thanks

(if you wish for me to give more ideas, i can give you some feedback on romania, since paradox tried to spice it up with this dlc but honestly failed horribly, lol)
Gage I  [author] 19 Nov, 2020 @ 3:51pm
Hey thanks for the recommendations! I appreciate the massive amount of feedback and will add these to the list of changes that could be added.
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 3:11pm
one last thing that its a game breaking bug, you should make the focus that gives you the choice to make greater greece a tweak (this is an issue from the dlc itself, as sometimes turkey can start its civil war and, even tho you get the lands transeferred you cant core them because the focus makes it so you cant do it unless turkey its a puppet or doesnt exist, and so because turkey ends the civil war in a free status it breaks the focus) and if, you make it so romania doesnt stop guaranteeing you if you pick the "bring home the exiled republicans" focus you would be a godsend
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 2:09pm
after giving it a look i think that the greko-yugoslav federation should be avaliable only for the communists, while the monarchist/metaxist greece should try to make a united balkan front with romania, a partitioned yugoslavia (for greek expansionism in macedonia and albania when war with italy, plus a non aligned buffer between the enemies west)an aligned hungary and a turkey that can be either invited peacefully or to be puppeted and fullfilling the megali idea under the king
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 1:46pm
one last thing (idk if this is already integrated because i havent tried a monarchist run with the mod) but a decision to pardon republican and fascist generals would be great, so you dont have to stick with only two generals
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 1:44pm
the bit about greater greece with a twist is really something optional and not really needed, but taking metaxas out of the fascism choices and to replace him with kosmidis is, i think a must do
Jorge luca 19 Nov, 2020 @ 1:41pm
hey there, i would like to suggest something, when going down the fascist branch after metaxas instead of metaxas you should get georgios kosmidis (the byzantine fascist of the republican path) to lead the nation as fascist while remaining with king george, and instead of forming just greater greece like the democratic choice you should get more turkish land (inland to ankara and some of the black sea coast as cores, to basically fullfill the megali idea in its highest ambition as the historical kosmidis wanted, he wasnt a byzantophile, he was just an anatolian greek that wanted his home back) this would be historically better since both metaxas wasnt really a fan of fascism and as such he would have never gone all the way and because kosmidis was still relevant in greek politics despite the eee collapsing in 1935, thats why he was chosen by the germans to run the occupied state
Gage I  [author] 17 Nov, 2020 @ 7:00pm
I'll look into doing something like that
GenAntilles 17 Nov, 2020 @ 4:13pm
Would it be possible for a monarchist Greece to still have the option of renaming all the Megali states to their Greek names? I would imagine a monarchist Greece that somehow still ended up in a war where they got those lands would still integrate them into Greece. Not necessarily a focus for Greece, but just a decision that if you have those states you can rename them when cored.
