the chauchat was good when it was clean afaik but it got dirty fast because the magazine was open and the thing hated dirt

the "worst gun in the world" part comes from the american modified chauchats that fired a different caliber

@kiwi yeah, at the end of the day that decision comes down to what i wanna do with it. and as the description aforesaid, it doesn't jam as the real gun due to my empathy for the weapon, i doted on it way too much.

unless its the creators decision to make a lua where the gun jams time to time

The weapon is good it's just that I can't hear any reload sound what makes it very unsatisfying

for those who cant stop parroting what most media likes to think of this gun heres some proof of gun jesus himself shooting both the french 8mm lebel m1915 version of the chauchat
and the US .30-06 m1918 version of chauchat seeing how reliable they are after being fixed up thank god for him showing how 'biased' the media can be towards the repuation of the gun along with what REALLY happend.

hey, theres a problem with this chauchat where the bullets are clipping through the magazine

not to mention it was the most commonly used LMG on the battlefield of WWI by any nation if they could get their hands on some compared to the other choices they had they would rather use this than their MUCH HEAVIER domestically made 'LMG' (LMG is putting it lightly as its a bit 'heavy' for a 'LMG' ironically)

actually that award goes to the m1918 US .30-06 chauchat and the italian breda modello 30 LMG

the m1915 8mm lebel french version (which is this one) was the most reliable version of the chauchat in history the only bad rep it gets is because mostly of the american variant and the magazine design flaws and performance in the environments. how about you do your research before blurting out what the media likes to commonly trumpets out contrary to popular belief.

I did. I just made up an explanation for why in-game it doesn't jam, as well as explain what the cause of one of its issues IRL was.

The magazine doesn't seem to be the open magazine used on the original version of the gun. I'm guessing that why this one doesn't jam all the time. The magazine being cut open to allow you to see how much ammo you have also caused dirt and mud to get into the magazine and jam the gun.

Hey.Listen, could you make a weapon from the game Singularity?You can see what kind of game it is and what kind of weapon it is, but it is good there(I hope that at least you will try to make this addon)

I mean I can understand why you decided to buff it but maybe an attachment in the menu to make it realistic wouldve been nice, sorta like the one where you jam your finger whenever you reload for the type 4 garand
