Thanks to this mod, i don't have to be forced to listen to 4 full awful songs from the music machine to unlock divide by spells.

Noita fans foaming at the mouth like rabid dogs when they see this mod. Grr you MUST play the intended way regardless of your circumstances. Even IF the game is a buggy mess that doesn't work properly. I have become GOD many times over, enough to unlock every spell and perform every hidden quest twice over. Yet the game crashes, doesn't load, or whatever buggy mess and yet the toxic Noita community would rather have my scalp for taking what I earned.

It sounds like you are looking at the right thing. I typed up directions on how to run the script and an explanation of what it is doing. It is twice the max characters allowed in a comment so I edited the first post in the discussion above and added the directions and explanation there.

i looked at its its the appdata thing right? however since idk what divide by modifier name is for flags, idk how to do it...

I get what you are saying now. This mod unlocks those but not the way you are expecting it to. When the game goes to spawn a random spell (like in a shop) it checks you have unlocked it, this mod makes the check always say it is unlocked. Normally there is a file created in your save folder each time you unlock a spell, Spell Lab is probably checking for those files the same way but this mod only overwrites the vanilla game's check so they would still be locked in Spell Lab.

I have posted a way to permanently unlock the spells in the thread above the comment box. It should allow you to access all of the spells in Spell Lab but I have never used Spell Lab so I am not 100% sure. It will not work for any spells added by mods that are locked, just the vanilla game ones.

oh. my point is i thought this would unlock modifiers like divide by 10 divide by 4, and other not by default unlocked spells. do you know how to do that through modding? i seem to misunderstood the mod actual effect...
in spell lab i couldnt see all the spells used by youtubers and bilibili. i know i need to unlock them but its too time consuming

@jason-deathbringer Are you talking about in the progress menu? If you are then this mod does not fill in the progress window, you still need to pick up the spells once each to fill the squares in. This mod just makes it so that you don't have to unlock say the Necromancy spell in order for it to appear in a shop. I didn't change the rarity so rare spells will still be rare.

If it is something else then please give me a link to one of the YouTube videos you mentioned and I will take a look at it.

hi does it actually unlock all unlockable spells? i find that i am missing a ton of OTHERS spells... even with spell bundle and varia addon im at 3 rows, most YTbers and bilibili ups have 5 rows in others...

@AzzyMaz I've never used Spell Lab but this mod shouldn't cause problems with it from what I see on the workshop page. The only change I make with this mod is disabling the check for unlocked spells when the game spawns a random spell in like the shop. It has no other effects.

You'll need to ask the author of Spell Lab about this. If Spell Lab is setup to only let you spawn unlocked spells through its' menu then my mod will do nothing to change that.

You could also disable my mod then see if you can find the secret spells, if you still can't then something with Spell Lab is preventing you from seeing the spells.

@Zuletzt It should work just fine, they haven't changed the file this mod changes so that's why the last update I made to this was last year.

@Baleur I don't know how to write files or set the flags in a mod, I just commented out a few lines to make this mod work.

I put a batch script in the mod's discussion tab that creates the flag files like you suggested. It unlocks the spells but also does not affect the progress window it turns out.

Wouldnt an easier way be to just have the mod create the relevant "flag" files inside AppData\LocalLow\Nolla_Games_Noita\save00\persistent\flags
Like "card_unlocked_necromancy"
That way it'd be permanently unlocked after you run the mod once, then can deactivate it.

@BUP There isn't a quick way for you to make sure the mod works without more modding. This mod just changes the game's check for a spell being unlocked to always say it is unlocked, it does not alter the spawn chances. So you will know it works when you see a Nuke spell or Meteor Rain somewhere but you have to be on the right level AND get a lucky roll in the random selection.

When I was making sure the mod works I cleared my progress, made several locked spells spawn at level 0 with 100% probability, and just ran to the first shop a bunch of times until I had seen a few of the locked spells spawn. It still took like 20-30 times before I finally saw a normally locked spell in the shop.

@panguino Yes it will, I was stupid making that comment yesterday and didn't look past the nuke in the file with the spells, I thought that was the end of the file for some reason. There are 60 spells/modifiers that are unlocked and I posted the list in the discussion tab.
