I like it visually. the puzzling was only ok. easer egg was nice. my biggest complaint is the celing getting triggered to fall and very likely kill you as you're on that bridge

You can save the companion cube at the start. It makes the level very easy.

Maybe put some more plants. Then it will look more overgrown :3

@p0rtalmaster - I don't want to load my chambers up with easter eggs. I will put in a few, but too many can lead to boredom for me and long compile times. Thanks for your input, though. :p2wheatley:

...interesting theme cressover, that's for sure. I just wish there were more to the easter eggs...
Anyway, good test.

@Twenty Four - That can happen, yes.

@AlphaCore - Thanks for reporting that bug. I will try and get around to fixing it.

@Mr Fraggle (UK) - Thanks.

Nice simple chamber. Well done.

Nice map, I love the design, but I think I found a bug.
The fizzler shield with a square sign is not emancipate a cube when I go through it, but it still cleaning my portals. Other than that, this is a good map.

was able to grab the love cube, but ended up in the ceiling. LOL! I just jumped down and kept going.

@bentap333 - I never thought of it that way. Interesting idea! :p2wheatley:

I feel like this is what would hapeen if you didnt beat wheatley. Eventually the whole place would just fall apart.

Looks awesome. I didn't think water jugs would float in the goo pond (I'm always throwing s**t in the goo pond). The Rattman den looked just like something out of the game. Which btw I was able to get to that door in it. I was hoping for some surprise if it opened.

This was quite a fun chamber, I really enjoyed it. The two aesthetics really blend together well and the hammer work is all around superb. The puzzle, while not exactly overburdened with complexity is still enjoyable to solve. If I could offer any feedback it would be that it's a bit too short and unchallenging. This feels like a prelude to an escape, or a more challenging section of a test. I'm left a little wanting by it. You really build the mood with the fantastic atmosphere and Hammer work, it all just amounts to a normal test. Overall it's a good, a little bit more depth and challenge would make it fantastic

@SkyRoots - You can either bring the cube with you along the light bridge or get it to the exit through a portal in the alcove. Either way works and was intended. :p2wheatley:
SkyRoots 22 Feb, 2014 @ 11:10am
To demonstrate, I made a chamber using a slight variation on your concept: Cancel .
SkyRoots 22 Feb, 2014 @ 8:51am
I understand that the portal surface in this alcove can be used to get back to the entrance.
Does your intended solution involve bringing the cube to the exit through a portal in the alcove ?
If so, then I'm just saying that there is another way to do it that does not use this alcove at all.
Ves  [author] 22 Feb, 2014 @ 7:32am
@SkyRoots - The cube at the beginning is for effect. The alcove is in case you lose your cube or need to get back to the main area.
SkyRoots 22 Feb, 2014 @ 7:25am
I was able to solve it without getting the cube (that falls at the beginning).
And, I was also able to solve it without using the portal surfaces (hidden around the corner in the alcove) just to the left of the exit door.

good mapping work !

@jgaultney - The companion cube is meant for effect, but you could use it in the puzzle if you grab it in time.
jgaultney 19 Feb, 2014 @ 10:38am
An enjoyable map. Did you intend the solution to be with either
one cube OR both?

Nice, Waiting for the end work, hope will be more difficult, thanks a lot for your works :)

I see what you're trying to do here, but this is still without enough texture variation, and using wall tiles for the ceiling. (For the detailing, it's nice. I know this is like "a beginner's map", but reconstructing/overgrown maps have much more models, for future maps). Also, I noticed that all the chambers you made are just one giant cuboid. Try to make it more interesting and lower the ceiling and floors. The water shouldn't be more than 256 units below the floor. Nice BTS. I'd recommend you see TopHATTwaffle.com hammer tutorials. They focus mainly on cubemaps and lighting and stuff to make your map look good.
