I would say it's worth playing for the visual design alone though. Only criticism I have of it is that some curved surfaces or edges don't look smooth (each face making the curve appears flat as if they were different surfaces). They were probably made with multiple brushes rather than a terrain patch. It isn't nearly that big of a deal though, so you probably wouldn't notice it.
