Overall if I had to give a rating it'd be a 5/10. The campaign is overall average because of the quality of the first 3 levels in particular, but a lot of the second half of this campaign just drags it down.
I've played this map probably about 5 times now. I think chapters 1-3 are some of the best content you will get out of a custom campaign on the workshop. The holdout sections are so ridiculous to the point they're kind of fun, and my only complaint is the obvious spam of spitters and smokers during the chapter 3 holdout. After chapter 3 I really feel the map takes a huge downfall in quality. The road level is very dark and can be long and hard to navigate 1st time through. The chapter 4 holdout is just plain unfair and if you are playing anything higher than normal (i played on advanced like always) the ai teammates will almost never be able to survive. The finale is just frustrating since it's a gas can finale the ai will not assist you with. If you have a full team I can see it being less frustrating. It also seems like the horde is endless, so good luck picking a teammate up when you are constantly swarmed with common infected.
I had 200 campaigns but they all got boring after 200 hours of play and this is the only campaign the best of all
all the people in the comments crying on how much hard this is!? challenging maybe but not hard at all
the finale is a pain in the ass considering its a scavenge finale and you need to collect 20 gas cans while horde is constantly spawning even with 2 tanks present
- There are way too many horde events + way too many zombies overall.
- This campaign is way too hard even on a lower difficulty.
- Healing items were sparse and lasted all of three seconds.
- Each chapter lasted way too long, dying meant losing like 20-30 minutes of progress most of the time. (Chapters are long intentionally).
- Sections were either way too small or gigantic too the point where you would end up lost.
- Most horde events lasted way too long. (Like wayyyyyyyyyyy too long).
- Ammo was sparse but there was always like a million guns lying around everywhere + melee weapons.
- Close to impossible with bots, 3-4 people seem necessary. (Depending on skill level).
This campaign was pretty close to being walk, fight horde, walk, fight horde, walk, fight horde but there was 1-2 objective events tossed in there to break up the monotony of it.

Despite the issues I had with map 4 and 5, I still recommend this campaign but be sure to bring someone for Advanced and above since this campaign is brutal sometimes. A bot team with better AI addons like Left 4 Bots 2 might also be enough for Advanced but you'll probably have to restart the map 1-3 times during your entire run. As for the ratings, this map initially would get a 9/10 from me but eventually it rounds out to a 7.5/10 because of how unfair map 4 is.
Definitely recommend this one but make sure to bring a buddy, I'd say two-three real human players is a must for a clean experience on this one, a bot team will have you resetting at least once or twice on your run.
