I play the chapter more because of it's interesting starting position. There are good chokehold defenses to the north but wide open plains to the south. I try to race to defeat the sun dogs ASAP since the canada tributary and short border with Santa Fe provides good defensive positions against future legion offensives.
There is also a good mod that fleshes out the chapter here on the workshop.
As someone who's clearly played them quite a bit, does the Maxson chapter have any quirks, like how the Guardians have Cardinals and not Paladins?

Some day, when I have the time i'll likely code some triggers to make names only appear when you've conquered those states, but at the moment I don't know what those are, or have the time to do them.
I'm kind of hoping Tandi's Legacy will simplify things for me, really.
