@nicedud1 Possibly compatibility problem. You are using mods which add new cultures to the game, and the MHG graphics don't assigned to them.

Christian Iberia uses the Western holdings instead of Iberian holdings, is this intended or a bug, or just cause I don't have the Iberia DLC?

Doesnt work properly for me. Some african and asian counties have european looking castles portraits.

thanks for checking, I appreciate it. I tried reversing the load order of the Medieval Arts, but to no avail. Actually any court in MENA has byzantine visual, so it must be the issue as you described. Weird, but I will try it out with a new game once I am done with this run so I can use your great mod :)

@maxscarlatti What you described suggests that there is no court assigned to the Iranian cultures. And in this case, the game will always automatically use the first court marked in the 00_default_cultures.txt file, in this case, the Byzantine one. But I checked and everything is fine at the file level. And despite trying to reproduce the error, everything works as it should for me. So, the MENA court version works for Makran, Daylam and Persia as well. I am at a loss at this level, I don't know what the problem could be :(

It was a new game, started after you updated for coronations. it happened since I first assumed a royal title (Makran, later Daylam and Persia; currently empire of persia (as for culture, I played as daylamite then switched to persian, started as Rostam I from 867 bookmark for context). The bug persisted even after I switched cultures (daylamite to persian) and moved capital from Firrim (daylamite) to Isfahan (persian, both counties default, no change in culture), same byzantine court, both for royal and imperial title. Played like that for several days, so multiple loadings of the game and it switched to mena court once I disabled your mod

@maxscarlatti And this bug happened when you started a new game or appeared later? What is your main title? And the culture of your capital? Asking just to try to reproduce this bug of yours.

Hi, thanks for a truly great mod :) just wanted to point your attention to bug.. when playing as an iranian heritage character, all I get is the new byzantine court. The only other mod I have is Medieval Arts, loaded after yours. And I am quite certain this mod is causing it, as when I disable it, court reverts back to persian/mena.. hope you have time to fix it so i can activate it again, cheers

@Casual Killroy Because MHG and CFP modify some shared files, you need a compatch between the two mods. You have to put it after the mods in the loading order.

Hi, I've encountered a bug with the mod where any kingdom that is formed after the start of the game has the same generic middle eastern throne room despite the location/culture of the character. The only other mods I use are the Community flavor pack, and Medieval Art, and I know it isn't either of those because when I turn your mod off it goes back to normal. This bug has been around for a while now is there any way you can fix it because it really ruins the immersion. Thanks!

This is a VERY minor thing, but do you think you could release a patch for the new "More East African Clothing Variety" mod by cybrxkhan? I'm using the EPE version and unfortunately the mod overwrites the architecture of most East-African cultures.

@vidz99 Thanks for the notice! I forgot to put "yes" for the croatian culture triggers. It's not a big deal, because the fallback graphical option the western one, but I'll fix it :)

@Archivist77 I can't yet imagine how my graphics could be used for EU5, but I give you my permission, good luck :)

@everyone The mod is updated to the latest DLC

@Nikko Foxington Do you use every compatch what you need? Because it seems to me that some culture is not properly defined (like because of a missing compatch for some other mod), so the game automatically replaces the missing culture with the first culture in the ABC, which is the Akan.

The King of Rum in Anatolia has an african culture at the 1170 stat date It's definetly not the culture mods etc.

@Lord Mark of Grotow Doesn't the mod work even if you don't use anything else besides it. Because otherwise there is a compatibility issue with another mod that you are using with MHG.

@Jaggahog It's hard to tell at first. I recommend testing the mods in the loading order. First just the main mod, then the others one by one, plus the compatches.

My game keeps on crashing on start up even when it's just the mods excluding the MGH-RICE compatch in the load order activated with no other mods added do you know of any cause for this?

I noticed that whenever my ruler leads an army and changes location to one with different court backgrounds, my ruler's entire court changes backgrounds as well

I was playing as the Uyghur khan and led my armies to Tibet. When I clicked on any of my children or courtiers they had visibly Tibetan backgrounds instead of the expected steppe/MENA - style backgrounds)

I really love your mod but is there a way to fix this issue?

Since you limited the turkish_medi illustrations to the mediterranean region, the turkmen culture doesn't have character view background when outside the region:
intgame.txt
