If i had time (and the drive) to go back and rebuild this mod from the ground up i would as there are many MANY things wrong with this faction mod. For its time it was good because there weren't any notable stalker factions out there i could remember (Other than bolans, he does a great job!). But today i shake my head at this mod with how i built it.

Hey I noticed that the Duty faction isnt available to be spawned in. The name Duty shows up when trying to spawn them as an OPFOR group but no units appear. As well, I am not able to see the Duty option when trying to spawn them in as individual units :(

hello mate. I noticed one thing that the names of the units that I spawn from your mod are always generated for some reason with Greek names and surnames (Stanislavis Papadoupoulos for example). Could you fix that? Because according to the lore of Stalker, most of the names there are Russian or Ukrainian, but not Greek

But mod is good!

@Hyphon i might revisit the mod and update it to use more modern mods, Sin i do not believe will be possible for this version as there is a lack of equipment for them in the current pack. It is abit of a tedious process to go through the configs to change around items

I get it. I've been considering robbing a bank to get a life sentence in prison just to escape the hellworld that is today.

I'm all for it being CUP based. As someone who has made factions before as well, I certainly regret my previous reliance on RHS for fun factions. CUP simply has a lot more flavour and soul and RHS is far better suited for RP bros and milsim.

@Pucc Succ thank you for the kinds words. Life has been really bogging down the next project so i apologize for taking so long, the good news is however i have most of the OPFOR factions done (them being Duty, Monolith, bandits and sin). School and having to move has been draining my energy to get this done. But dont fret it still is very much in the back of my mind and will get done once the move is finished.

I eagerly await this new faction pack you are making. I used this one for my latest STALKER scenario, I'm hoping to use the next one rather immediately for another one I had in mind.

I suggest that you use CUP stuff in your new mod, i realised that CUPs have so many cool uniforms that could fit even better than the russian mod, but i was finishing updating the mod and i was too lazy to change everything

@Alfa229 ye sometimes its better to disable authentication, especially if your around a group of friends or in a unit that is good at enforcing mods. it keeps things simple

Got around the error by disabling authentication entirely, if the key works for everyone else then the error is probably somewhere on my side.

@bolan not entirely sure on the patches unfortunately. Last time I messed around on arma with my mod i was just getting editor errors that could be safely ignored.

Also what did you do to fix the patches? I remember that when i created the first version of the mod, it had alot of errors due to those patches, i had to remove all of them

@Huntermist, yes signatures are now fully working thanks!

About the dependency, it just pops up for people when they import an collection, and it shows a red chain icon telling the user there is a dependency issue. However it for fine for the rest. It's just that I want to avoid people downloading a mod twice as we use the ones from ACE Team.

@Jasper Okay hopefully i did it right. Bikey file should be present now and i have resigned the pbo files (never did resigned them after update 3) so the keys and signatures should match with the latest update

@Jasper ill look into the bikey file situation. as for the RHS all in one compat ( i may be wrong) i believe you can use the official compats in its stead for your preference

I do apologize for the inconveniences this mod has turned up in past and present. i am still learning to properly mod and ensure everything is functional. thank you for the headsup. it helps out a lot with the learning process

Hello,

Could you include the bikey that came when signing this mod? Normally this would be added in a keys folder in the root of the mod folder. This makes it possible to use it on servers. Right now we can't run it even though you have signed the PBO files. But clients and server need the key to verify the signatures.

Alternatively is it possible to drop the ''ACE RHS Compat All-in-One'' dependency, as I'd like to use the ones uploaded by the ACE team. I prefer directly from the source than a 3rd party.

Hopefully it has been fixed! be sure to update your mods by right clicking on my mod and select "repair" this will force update it

The mod requires downloading many additional mods that are not mentioned here, e.g. guitars, new sounds or maps. Same as he wrote ----> Two-IC
