Would it make sense to add a rivalry between Spain and France?

Why are France and Poland historical friends though? Is it because of Napoleon's liberation after the partitions? If that's the case then Russia and Serbia should be historical friends too mainly because of the Serbian Uprisings in the middle of Napoleonic Wars.

Still nice to see something like this, especially one for England/Portugal and Poland/Hungary.

It would be nice to have more historical rivals such as Great Britain/Netherlands, Germany/France, Sweden/Russia, Great Britain/USA, Poland/Russia and Italy/Austria. I know that some of theese are formables and doesn't fit the timeline such as Germany or Italy but since they are formable maybe it fits.

England and the Netherlands are hard to account for to be honest.
England helped the dutch achieve independence and they shared a union for some time but on the other hand they also entered quite a few minor wars (mostly over some colonial disputes.)

I would say England should get it but only for the Netherlands and only if they are both protestant/anglican.

I would second Poland and Hungary. Even to this day they have very friendly relations. So much so that Hungary, in the Axis, didn't declare war on Poland during WW2
