I can confirm that all of my mods still work as intended for me. I have around 40 mods by various authors installed.
I would start by checking the information in the game log and the crash report, although the latter can be hard to understand if you don't know what you're looking for.
Start the game without economy, map or weather/environment mods installed and see if that works. I've had crash issues in the past which were caused by a simple outdated truck chassis configuration. Sometimes it's the smallest thing which can cause the biggest problem.
Good luck!
these which is one reason I appreciate you and the
the modders so much. I hope your real life becomes
a pleasure to you and that you find that balance, cheers.
I do appreciate your kind words, as well. It's just a shame I don't have a huge amount of time to bring those ideas forward right now.
To give you some idea, my basic cargo packs take around three full workdays to produce a working version. That's anywhere from 24-36 hours. I then spend a further day testing with combinations of other mods, and resolving any errors in the log. If the mod includes dedicated paintjobs for trailers, it takes considerably longer to produce and test. Usually 2-3 weeks.
When you're putting this much time into producing and testing mods, it can quickly become a chore, because you're not playing the game for pleasure. It can be difficult to find a balance!

Modders like you help so much in making the game more
enjoyable. Please keep creating and making this game what
modders like you take it to another level. It's much more
enjoyable thanks to you and other modders. Cheers friend.
on ETS2, enjoy the awards, you deserve them.
Thank you sharing your hard work.
If you are experiencing issues with this mod, please explain what that issue is so I have something to work with. DO NOT leave a comment simply saying “update to 1.XX”. This mod does not contain version specific content, and will only receive essential updates as and when they become necessary.
Comments asking for version updates will be deleted and ignored.
Thanks for understanding and happy trucking!
If you have any more questions about my mods, please feel free to ask. In the meantime, happy trucking!
with Bart's trailer
Your mod works great, All the cargoes are showing up for me to. And all mod trailers I play with work the same way as the SCS trailers, Reefer cargo works with Reefer trailer, Drayvan cargo with Dryvan trailer. And B4RT Trailer work not only with SCS, with your mod to, but only like a reefer. The whole point with this trailer is that it is 2 in 1 (Reefer and Dryvan). I mean that you don't need to buy two 2 different trailers, you can use one trailer for all loads. But for some reason this way only works with SCS. Cargo mods his trailer only recognize as a refrigerator. And if he is selling his trailer as a 2 in 1 then he should update his mod to be compatible with other mods.
About the Fruehauf trailer. It's not exactly 2 in 1. It works in the same way as the SCS trailer. have to buy two trailers.
Just a quick note to say that I have tried using a few of the more popular trailer mods from the Steam Workshop, and I can confirm that all of my cargoes are showing up in the markets. I would guess that the paid trailer mods you are using have been set in some way to only work with default cargoes.
Have you had any luck with the Freuhof trailer?
You know, I think it would be better if I didn't find this problem with trailers and cargo :). Life would be calmer if we didn't know about this issue :). But there is also a positive side of this problem, now you have work for the whole weekend :).
About the Fruehauf trailer. It's not exactly 2 in 1. It works in the same way as the SCS trailer. You can buy a refrigerator and then change it to a Dryvan in the work chop. At least the trailer is very cool :).
I'm all in favour of the modding community producing great content. But it needs to be done with morals in mind, so that we stay on the right side of the fence. We put an unholy amount of hours into our creations, so providing a link to enable people to make donations for our time and work is one thing, but outright selling a brand you don't own can be damaging later on.
I'll be interested to know how the new trailer works. I'm looking forward to testing modded trailers myself over the weekend. If I can't haul my own cargo with them, I need to find out why not!
With this in mind, unfortunately I won't be working on fixing this issue with B4RT's trailer specifically, but I will experiment with some of the more popular trailer mods from the Steam Workshop to see if I experience the same issue, and take it from there. If future updates to this mod happen to fix the problem you're having, that will be a bonus.
This is probably not the answer you were expecting, but for reasons of morality, I won't be focusing on this problem specifically with B4RT's trailer.
Sorry for any disappointment, but thanks for your understanding.
Interesting problem. It sounds like it will most likely be something to do with the definition files in B4RT's trailer. I'll check it out over the coming weekend and see if I can find a solution. After all, I have to consider that this issue might be happening with other trailer mods too.
I'll update you once I've investigated. Thanks for letting me know!
This mod has been updated for use in convoy/multiplayer sessions.
Happy trucking!
Thanks for your kind comment, and happy trucking!
Great. I had already thought that BBQ might not be enough,
but you have summarised everything so appropriately.
Patience is my middle name, and of course I've been a follower for a while.
No hurry! Good things take time!
I'm looking forward to it in any case.
Good luck with the updates and, what should never be missing,
have fun driving the trucks.
At the moment, my priority will be to update all of my current mods to 1.43 when that game version is released. Then I have a few ideas noted down that I want to start working on. I'll add your idea to that list.
I can't make promises on time scales. But if you follow me, you'll be made aware of new content in my workshop when it appears.
Happy trucking!
And by the way, I believe that you would be the right man for my idea too.
What would America (and by now the rest of the world) be without barbecue?
Could you perhaps create charges that have more to do with it?
We are definitely missing meat, sausages, sauces, dips, barbecue, charcoal, gas, cooking aprons, barbecue lighters, etc.
Maybe you could make something out of it.
In any case, I am the first customer.
Game version 1.43 will likely be released in a matter of weeks. Currently, ALL my mods still work as intended in single player in 1.40, 1.41 and 1.42.
Please do not ask for updates . I'm aware that updates are required for multiplayer/convoy compatibility, but updating anything prior to the 1.43 release will be a waste of time.
Thanks for your understanding!
This mod will continue to work as intended in single player.
Any updates which are required for compatibility with multiplayer/convoy will be made in due course. Hopefully within the next week or so, but I can't make promises.
Please do not ask for updates. I am already aware of the changes that 1.42 brings.
Happy trucking!
