I'm currently not able nor interested to continue updating this. I'm silently and slowly working up another unanounced project where the Turkish faction may resurface, however, no guarantees.

This addon will remain on the workshop for use as it currently stands.

@Black Hand, development is halted for the time being, yes. If we ever pick it back up, it'll be released as a completely new mod. For now, the Aegis dev team released a fantastic mod depicting the Helenic and Turkish Armed Forces in 2035, greatly recommend it.

There use to be a faction mod, which uses these assets as a dependency. Any idea why it was removed or taken down?

@TurkishPilotTR Hey man, this is just our own take on a fictional 2035 version of Turkey. No one is stopping you from making a fictional "strong" Turkey mod, if you like TMT & TFM use those instead of this.

Bruh Turkish Infantry is already using modern day equipments like OpsCore style helmets and googles, Thermal Rifle Scopes or domestically produced elcans (a940 or a960 i dont remember its name), modern weapons like MPT series,KNT,MMT,,BORA-12,KCR,HK series., plate carriers (with Level 3 plate) modern MRAPS,TWAVs (Tactic Whelled Armored Vehicle (TTZA)) but you guys showed them like iran's shitty army... please create things true if you gonna do something. also camos are wrong too , uniforms are looking bad and inaccurate (they are looking like low cost african warlord clothes). check TMT ,TFM mods for having a idea about what Turkish Army looks like. hope you guys good luck... i hope this mod becomes better and accurate

Right now we are both pretty burnt out on the mod, and we sadly don't have the time to work on it. However we might bring some more stuff in the future, such as more units and a full faction at some point. No promises though:)

I found it amazing that you did it according to the lore of the game. The alternate story you wrote for Caracal also looks good. Are you planning to add more equipment in these months?

Lore wise, Turkey joined CSAT in 2030 because of a Major earthquake in the country (insinuating that perhaps CSAT used the eastwind devise to destabilise Turkey into the alliance). At the time of the Earthquake Turkey was still a NATO member (however it is implied that outside NATO militaries evacuated the country from Bodrum in 2029), but NATO left them to dry sending little in the way of aid. This meant that when Iranian troops entered the country in 2030 after offering to help Turkey with recovery efforts, Turkey was pressured into the alliance.

This is interesting, I must ask, why CSAT? Turkey is currently a NATO member and as I am aware that relations are strained but would Turkey really go to CSAT in 15 years? In the opening prologue NATO troops were in Bodrum, Turkey

Nope, CSAT emblem stays.

It's not bad but has to be developed more. For instance, you have to add camouflaged turkish flag instead of CSAT emblem on uniforms.

You won't find them as units, yet. I'm working on it, next update will have a usable faction and some extras. The light fatigues have low-vis CSAT patches, just the granit suits have no patch (I couldn't get them to look good, yet). Another version of the mod with more content will eventually be released, with more uniforms sporting actual Turkish flag patches. There are also some insignias available to use via arsenal or 3den unit attributes - they're a bit low quality as of yet tho.

Well, he's still correct. In the old A3 Lore, that is: the concept that was presented prior to the release of the game (2011 I believe), WW3 basically happened and Turkey indeed got invaded by Iran. This plot was abandoned when the lore was restructured (Lemnos was renamed to Altis, among other things) - in the current A3 lore it is only implied that there was a big crisis in Turkey (some sort of outbreak), and that it is in CSAT.

You should investigate the Turkish army. The Turkish army is a more modern army. In addition, Turkey cannot be invaded. If you want to take a look at the history.

Thanks. Trust me, I've done plenty of research on the lore. The invasion of Turkey by Iran was a part of the old lore. The only canon lore we have on Turkey comes from the Laws of War DLC, and it's nothing concrete. Our lore is that Turkey joined CSAT in the 2020's.
