@ erin.d.lindsey My thoughts exactly. Thanks!

Awesome! My character already has Severin Manor, so two owned houses on Solstheim would be overkill - but the mushroom guest house is perfect crash space/storage space for downtime in between missions for Neloth. Great work!

I would really like this place if it were larger. Right now it is too small. Thanks anyway.

@ Lyndon Thanks!

@ jamber77 If I remember correctly you have to walk there first to discover it. Then you just go inside the bigest mushroom house to meet Neloth and get your key. See the map in the screenshots above for the location.

how do you get in Tel Mithryn?

the interior reminds me of a high-rez interior of the Great Deku Tree (:

Really nice work!

@slade421 -stendar's beacon- good one, but I'd use different textures, don't like the ones the game uses for floor/walls. Yeah agree on the vampire locations, there's a mod out, while well done, it turns Volkihar castle into a player home, and it was just way too over the top for me so I uninstalled it. The modder did a lot of work on it and I commend his/her effort, but it was just too much- for me. :fingers:

Far as my mushroom, I've always loved them- Sadrith Mora was my favorite vanilla town in Morrowind. Always wanted my own but isolated from everyone else. If I could get the time, sure I will eventually (no time soon though unfortunately) I'll make myself one as my own private mod. The circle doors kind of remind me of Hobbiton in LOTR. :steamflake:

Great ideas Slade and Storm at Sea. And @ Arthedain: the second option. ;)

Well, I've seen at least a dozen mods that alter either the castle or fort, or make an unnecessarily large 2nd castle or fort. I'm sure you've also seen all of the bloodsoaked little caves and bone-strewn basements made for vampires. Perhaps some small retreat in the mountains with garlic hanging by the door, a cave with a Dawnguard soldier or surviving Vigilants guarding it, or even Stendarr's Beacon becoming a playerhome. Something more unique, rather than following the crowd. Oh, and congratulations on making the front page again.

Looks good, I will try this :) Thanks. +

P.S. Have you thought of doing a nice mushroom elsewhere on the island? Maybe a heavily forested area in wall-to-wall snow far as the eye can see?- If you want it a bit more realistic- maybe his assistant was practicing his spells and accidentally zapped some of the seeds with ice magic? lol I don't know- but if I had the time to mod, even if I just made it for myself, that's where I'd grow my mushroom :) -would probably make it white or a pale blue (frozen shade). :riften:

Ah nice house mod

Whooo hooo! Made it to the front page. Thank you everyone who viewed this mod and extra thanks to everyone who rated it "thumbs up."

Hmm I've thought about adding a room in either castle (vampire or dawnguard) but not an entire house. Do you have a suggestion?
Romanos 10 Feb, 2014 @ 11:40pm
Have you ever thought of making a Dawnguard home? You've got multiple for vanilla, Hearthfire, and now one for Dragonborn as well.

@ Slade421 Thanks so much!

Been a fan of your house mods for a while. Love the idea and locale for this one.

Can't find the key? Go to Neloth's tower and look at his tables.
