and is it possible to make each left 4 dead 1 survivor do all 16 of the left 4 dead 2 survivors falling screams because i need to do that for the addon aswell

How sure are you that you were playing on official dedicated server? Did you type 'status' in console and at least got Linux Dedicated along Valve's regular hostname: Valve Left4Dead 2 X Y Server (srcdsZ)?
Did you apply the advice from the description? Installed B2V last, checked whether mods other than B2V don't conflict with each other, restarted the game?
What mods were you using alongside this one? Link to collection would be ideal.
What map exactly were you playing on? Which chapter?

from what i remember when i joined a server in a l4d1 campaign the tank was invisible and i believe some things had errors

@Damian Bad news: "game_sounds_*.txt" scripts (one of which is responsible for the gun pitch randomness), don't work from inside normal, workshop add-ons.
Good news: GameMaps version of B2V isn't a normal, workshop add-on and is already taking care of that.

As for removing the campaign, the best I could do with a workshop add-on is hide it from the menus. I see no point in doing that. Get the GameMaps version of b2v if you want TLS maps actually removed. I made them optional here.

this messes up the textures in the last stand with the barricade in the finale
and why doesn't this remove the last stand even tho its supposed to be before the last stand update

Would there be a way for the Special Infected burn textures to be removed too?

@Dangerous-JILL- Sounds like an unrelated issue that's been already covered countless times both in guides and discussions. Look up "game too dark" in before mentioned sections.

@Dangerous-JILL- Workshop version of this add-on contains original models. They override TLS models that reside in the folder called "update", which override original models stored in the "left4dead2*" folders. In short: It works like your average workshop weapon model mod.

GameMaps version is an "update" folder replacement that doesn't contain TLS weapon models, to make the game use what's inside the "left4dead2*" folders, skipping the double override.

Great, it worked. I have a question, this makes the game look like it was before TLS, but are the models of weapons included in the file or those models are still in l4d2 folder but not activated,so what this mod does is to activate those models? I'd like to know that

I originally meant a separate mod that ONLY removes the added dialogue.
But now that I think about it, something like that would only work in single player since script modifications only work for servers.

I guess in order to fix the issue with other voice packs you would HAVE to replace the added lines for each mod, which is impossible for old mods since most are 12+ years old and will never be updated.
And people playing in other languages are screwed since the added lines were only recorded in English. Damn TLS was worse than I thought. Thank you anyways, you saved me a lot of time trying to find/create an impossible solution.

@AcidAddict33 This mod already does that. Or are you talking about removing them client side? If so then no, it's not possible.

And now every skin for nick doesn't work if back 2 vanilla has priority over the mod because of the vtf file.

If you want a better version of it, visit GameMaps. If you want pure pre-TLS experience, pirate 2.1.5.5. And if you want to completely remove TLS from the face of Earth, go sacrifice your firstborn to Gaben.
