There's a mod with a somewhat similar theme that was abandoned years ago, and I think it would be interesting to combine the two.

The creator seems to have completely moved away from anything Starbound related, so I imagine anyone can take this mod and repost it to update it.

Sloime, I'll add them to the to do list, but as you can see, I haven't updated the mod in a while. The thing is, I'm redoing it. ๖ۣۜFenris , unfortunately, my modding skills are not good enough for these cool ideas. I just can make simple json objects, when for wedding mechanics, I guess, needs LUA. About the spawn of children in villages. I'm working on it, but I'm not promising anything. It's quite difficult to find the right code in the game or other mods that would help me with this. So it is highly likely that children will not spawn in the villages.
About FU compatibility. It must work fine, if FU doesn't edit\replace vanilla pet 's .json . When I was playing with FU, I hadn't any problem. But it was 1-2 years ago, I don't know how it would be now. Other mods, that don't edit\replace vanilla pet's .json file, won't conflict with mine.

Lulu Jessica , you don't have to use a new character. They eat just like vanilla ship pets: throw food out of your inventory near them.
