I used the Eurotunnel once, sadly i was going to a bike rally essex and of course i was on my motorbike... Had to spend the whole trip pushing against the side stand to keep the bike from falling... I am not proud but i peed on my leather trousers before being able to jump out.

I am going to try this and make sure trains have better facilities for bikers.

To be accurate, you need three tunnels Two for trains and one small road for the service tunnel.

Glad enjoyed - it's tricky getting it deep enough so it doesn't flood!

Arthur, Your comment says -700m. did you add an extra zero in there, the tunnel is only 75m below sea level, It starts it's descent, at Folkestone 8 miles west of Dover. Just starting with the map, I worked on the project which was fascinating, so building a model should be interesting.

Yes I have - both a rail tunnel and a road one. As I say in the tips above, you have to use “Fine Road Anarchy 2.0.2” and go REALLY deep - I was about at minus 700 metres otherwise it will flood! It does work if you do that and it's great to see the traffic popping out on both sides of the channel :)

I can't figure out how to build the tunnel! It keeps saying the slope is too steep, no matter what I do. Has anyone successfully done it?
