I like this change as I never liked the Lancer upgrade from Pikeman but it makes Pikeman dissapear immidiatelly after getting Musketman.
To balance it I would add Iron requirment to Musketman as like in "Into the Renessaince scenario". Iron is already rarelly used in game until you get Frigates

In the second half of the game, I used to select and use Landsknecht to use the policy characteristics of "honor" to gain culture and happiness by using Landsknecht in the city, but it's a bit disappointing that it didn't work.

Nevertheless, I deeply appreciate your mode.^^

With this mod, Landsknecht and Pikeman will go obsolete at the 'Gunpowder' tech. This may be causing the behavior you are seeing.

If you use this mode, Landsknecht will not appear.
Even if you select Landsknecht from "Commercial" in the policy, it does not appear to be available for purchase because Landsknecht is not visible in the city.

I'm using your other modes very well.
