does this work with ketaros portrait decoaration mod? THat just colors the background of portraits based on rank? but this one adds stuff to its border so wondering if i can use both?

Best portrait border mod, the grey part at the top is a great idea, it doesn't look out of place like others do.

This works fine, only issues are Portrait Border mods that are non-Achievement. There has been some GUI changes in 1.7

Tested mod, and worked without any issues. So fixed the descriptor to accept all game versions.

Should be updated and working now. You can force a re-install of mods via the Paradox Launcher if it doesn't work immediately.

Removing it didn't fix the problem unfortunately but it's not unplayable, thanks for the reply =D

Seconding that the new update broke this mod, every character has every border overlapped, kinda looks like they're behind bars.

I get a red triangle icon for this mod and the info says This mod is missing discriptor file , and I can't activate it.

Thanks for the mod! When i play with achievements, this is the only mod i run since it is super convinient to see their ranks better. In default that small triangle is hidden behind the CoA.

No worries! As I said, the over all colour of the ducal portrait makes it easy to distinguish as it's different enough from count, so not a huge concern.

However some adjustment of the ducal portrait might be due at some point.

Regarding the contrast, I actually had more contrast when testing, but it stood out like a sore thumb, and after some tweaking I landed on this, and am quite happy about the result. As it's only a duke I feel it shouldn't stand out too much. So, I'm not adjusting the contrast for the moment.

Could you live with using the Paradox Mods [mods.paradoxplaza.com] old version? You can download old versions from there. It's unfortunate that Steam doesn't allow using old versions.

It's unfortunate you added the ribbons, I too also preferred the purple Empire title border. Can we have an alternate version?

Is it possible we could get a little more contrast on the ducal borders? The colour of the ribbons is very similar to the border itself and it's difficult to see at a glance. My eyesight isn't the best. =<

Oh yeah, I see, and understand, I also only use Ironman compatible mods. Unfortunately I don't know if that's possible. I don't actually code - other than what I learned in a web development course several years ago. But I would guess that there would be some code needed to adjust the border to go behind the hat, and that would make it not Ironman compatible. Granted I'm just speculating here. Maybe if it's brought to Paradox's attention they might remedy it at some point.
