No problem! Fixing all those issues related to research meaning someone should make a new mod just for those.

Check if you have some incompatible mods or you're missing some patches. The FU's Wiki has a dedicated page

StrikerZ, the Protectorate Flag has to be researched in the Agriculture (Agriculture Tree) node.

I'm so glad this mod is able to let custom races be able to cook the basic recipes, its silly it hasn't been fixed yet. For some reason though this mod seems to be disabling me from making a Protectorate flag!

So does this restore the campfire recipe then?
Cause it's not showing up at all for me and I'm using a human character.
I've even checked other races and no campfire.

Hello I installed the mod and I'm still having some issues. There are five things that still are not there, i can say one of them is the refinery but I don't know what else there is as the default checker isn't telling me.

I just came across this and I think it could solve my problem. Does this fix the default unlock problem that using F.U. and Dee's instruments causes? If so, does it work for every race? or only vanilla + some more well known modded races?

Found a mod for getting the item IDs. The ID for the Refined Magicite Crystal is refinedmagicitecrystal. I don't know what other items are missing

Hey there! I have FU and The Viera of Ivalice downloaded. There are 5 files missing, but the biggest one that is missing is the Refined Magicite Crystal. I cannot find the item ID for the life of me, I've searched for hours. I also can't figure out how to tell what items are missing in the logs. Any help would be appreciated

I just found out all the basic crafting items and patched them back for every race

Probably because all the modded races did something wrong about patching the crafting items in the game and combining with FU something goes wrong, I don't really know.

Huh, maybe you are right. I checked every tab and around the base area (thats where torches would most likely be) and nothing. Although some of the removed items may have been originally intentional, due to sources like the capsules, but that doesn't explain why only the FU Races and base Races can craft that stuff.

I already talked with Sayter about that research thing but he told me to try the game with any of the base/FU races and you can notice that doesn't happen, but only when you play with custom races like felins or Saturnians or Lastree etc etc

That can be something that messess up between the FU's way to insert new items with the custom races one, probably something goes wrong and... well... those thing disappears.

Can't craft the machining table, even with this mod .-. It's weird because it has been a long time since i played starbound, but last time i checked everything was working just fine.

I made a new character and the blueprints still don't show up. I guess I'll have to use cheats to get everything and then move the materials required to build it to the trash.

I installed this mod because I couldn't craft anything using the inventor's table and it still hasn't fixed it yet. The blueprints just won't show up even when I restart my game. I might have to make a new character and start all over again.

Well personally, I'm just curious exactly what mod causes the items to disappear. Its a good habit to find out precisely where the error is and let those modders know whats wrong. Anyhow, 10:30AM, time for sleep.

I think every races, maybe I'm wrong and the issue is somewhere else, and this patch is pretty much general, this fixes the basic crafting issue.

What races? Perhaps you can try narrowing down which race in specific so that the patch can be renamed to explain what race mod it ends up fixing?

Usually are race mods's fault.
I mean, when I tried to play with only FU and Vanilla races, never got that problem, but after adding 5/9 races, some of crating thing went nuts and disappeared.
This patch aims at re-adding those missing crafting items.

To someone those weren't craftable, like me, the Torches or Ropes weren't craftable, this is why I did this patch.

I dunno, it seems to be a default in FU. It requires you to research tiers of things to unlock them. At least some of those things, I didn't check each and every single item but I noticed some of the first items in those change notes, were already craft-able.

This mod doesn't affect any crafting tables. This should only re-insert some of the basic crafting stuff back in the crafting list for the C button and something about campfires.

would this mod affect the crafting menu's "new" icon? Trying to locate what might cause a problem with another mod that affects it!
