Can we only replace ordinary infected individuals? I want to retain a generation of special infected individuals

Idk bout what Kenobi is saying, as it's still putting l4d1 special infected over the models I installed. Unless it's some console command or settingg in the options I'm missing

they fixed this in a semi recent update. this mod is no longer needed.

wait so you're telling me you had to create a mod just because they updated the l4d1 campaigns to actually include the l4d1 infected and not the l4d2 infected?? ion see a goddamn difference, why couldn't they just keep the campaigns how they were and save the trouble

This mod crashes my game

no longer seems to work on all common infected but it works on some which is odd like the construction worker and such

quick question: does this randomize uncommon infected in between common infected like other addons do?

I tried on 2 mods for this one, first is Nazi Zombies mod & next is zombies from HOTD. I use No Mercy map because the problem usually happens at that particular map. Both of it works. The only problem is that zombies from HOTD T-posing when you killed them. But the same issue also occurs in L4D2 maps.

This mod is an example that human beings are not satisfied with anything. Before, everyone asked for improvements to the game, many wanted to bring back the L4D1 models to L4D2, and now that we have all this they want to go back to how it was before.
This mod is a waste of time.

Well, it doesn't work. Local or not, Infected mods cease working in L4d1 maps (except The Sacrifice for some reason)

In fact, when I COMPLETELY unsubbed from this (not just de-check the checkmark), THEN I was able to replace the commons in No Mercy & others...

Im wanting to edit this myself for personal use, how would I go about removing everything except for the reverts to the uncommons? (ceda, riot, mudmen, etc)

thank you so much, sir. this mod is what l4d2 community truly needs. still can't believe valve thought that betraying workshop and hardworking modders with TLS update is a good idea. because workshop and unofficial mods are what make l4d2 a masterpiece, not valve nor TLS team.

Just to let you know, I no longer experience crashing on the Hospital/Rooftop levels on the No Mercy campaign. Must've been related to the multiple HD add-ons I had installed.

Also to Meyers07, the game has been extremely laggy ever since The Last Stand hit. I've been reading around on the forums, and even people with high-end rigs are having stuttering. The update must have messed something up with the engine, considering this game used to run just fine on Core 2 Duo machines 13 years ago.
