Can the AI form the HRE if I'm playing as the pope? In my game it seems to never do it, unless i do it manually

bloodline haven't effect, just see descendants

Another quick question, why does every cardinal and Pope have a bloodline? and does it affect gamespeed in any way?

So do i have to manually sellect a character when alive to make them a saint after death, or do you sometimes get an event to canonize someone?. I know you can manually do it, but I wonder If sometimes It can be automatic

I was thinking about merging the changes with another mod to make them compatible. However, I don't see "defines.txt" anywhere in the mod package. Can I safely use other mods that change "defines.txt" now or am I just not seeing it for some reason?

The Collage of Cardinals is entirely empty sept My priest and some other bloke, the Pope dies and now there's no pope anymore and nobodies taking his place there's just a cross where the popes image should be. and my priest gets a seat on the Collage of cardinals then suddenly he's not then he is again and then not and so on and so forth. My priest got a seat well over 100 times so far WTH is going on with that?

@eztoom I think the explanation was needed, it was a bit silly to suggest that but at least it's all out in the open in case somebody else has the same idea. No need to send friend requests after the matter though ;)

well loaded and composed of several patches and several versions.


the game crusader kings 2 is a wonderful game, but full of "bugs" and full of "dirty" and "impossible to change" code...

@eztoom I don't think you quite comprehend the logistics of making a mod compatible with a *total conversion*, let alone one on the scale of this mod. Maybe take a try at it, and you'll understand.

Since update 3.0.3 Build 9.9.9, only cardinals could vote during the conclave.

Now, update 4.0.0 Build 1.0.0.0 offers the possibility to the independent and Catholic Liege Lord, the possibility of "voting" for the cardinals of their choice. (all the cardinals of the same kingdom vote like their liege lord)

Note that cardinals are independent or do not respect the constraints of update 4.0.0 Build 1.0.0.0, vote by default (see update 3.0.3 Build 9.9.9).

Like 3.0.3 Build 9.9.9, the exclusivity system was only offered to kings and emepers.

Now, the right to veto a cardinal will be granted to any independent lord with at least one cardinal. (count, duke, king and emperor)

The goal of this update offers Catholic players the opportunity to have richer gameplay than 3.0.3 Build 9.9.9. But to benefit from it, you will need at least a vassal cardinal (direct or indirect)

Playing as the high septon would be fun and extremely immerisve. I'm sure os many would be happy to have compatability with this mod and AGOT.
