Is this compatible with mods that modify the tech tree? Specifically I’m thinking of 6T

This mod unhid nothing for me. I spent 30 min restarting, ticking/unticking trying to make it work but got nothing.

Oh, it comes out on the 22nd. My bad. Not out yet.

Is this compatible with the new tech tree in the latest update? It added some new units like trebuchets.

Not possible

I agree with @Matt; I want something halfway between vanilla-shuffle where everything is hidden, and this mod where everything is revealed.

Another alternative: what about revealing only X steps (1, probably, maybe 2) into the tree ahead of your current research? Maintains some of the mystery and anti-beelining of the vanilla-shuffle, but allows for a *little* more thoughtful planning.

what I wanted(i can't make strategical decisions regarding tech without this mod)

langweilig macht den ganzen spass kaputt spielt es doch einfach ohne den tech and shuffle mode da habt da mehr davon

I like this idea. For further fine-tuning though, do you think it would be possible to have the eras revealed one at a time when the 'whole world' enters them, giving a slight advantage to the civilization who begins scouting the tech tree first?

Just what I wanted! Using suffle mode this is a must have, nice work @p0kiehl.

Ah I see...
Faysal 25 Sep, 2020 @ 2:36pm
What does it do?

For late games that see climate change and sea levels rise (and you're on the coast), this is kind of a must so you don't waste valuable turns guessing where the link to sea walls tech is. I've lost military-aimed victories from my air bases and resources ending up like the Pharaoh's army in Exodus, and even when I do plan ahead for it there is the risk of a new outpost or under performing/conquered city not building the wall in time, and that's THE reason I've been leery of playing a game with tech shuffle.

Thank you for this!!! Tried playing a tech shuffle game yesterday and it wasn't so fun not being able to plan ahead, I liked that it was different, but not that I was in the dark.

Thank you for making this mod! I played the Tech and Civic Shuffle mode and I loved how it mixed up the game, but was annoyed by how it limited my ability to plan for the future. This mod fixes that so thank you!

dont hate on him just for making a mod that you dislike, its up to you whether you want to use the mod or not
p0kiehl  [author] 22 Sep, 2020 @ 7:02pm
Why are you asking me how to have fun with your game? If the unpredictability of moving forward is important to you then yeah, don't use this mod. If you find it annoying to babysit the tech and civics trees, then give this mod a shot.
Waelsk 22 Sep, 2020 @ 6:59pm
But isn't the whole point of the mode is to make tech and civics unpredictable?
