Of course, Soviet government could give them acceptable names.
But people of the republic should've had traditional names for its main sights
I spent a lot of time and money flattening hills and mountains. And I'm not happy with the result. My republic looks now like a violance against nature, and I still can't concentrate a good share of industries in one place
Played it about 150 hours from 1960 until ~1982.
But it is unrealistic in some moments:
1. The main problem: Cities don't have shops and any other infrastructure. AND some cities have no free space to put them, between mountains and other buildings.
If it it is really a country after WWII, then how people lived here before the war?
I have to destroy some residential buildings and squares to put shops and gyms there.
If you don't want to put infrastructure then at least leave some space for it.
2. Why there are fields and elevators, but no farms? Maybe I don't understand something, but I think farms are required
3. I would add some hunting towers and similar primitive industries to villages
For those who want a map without population, just use the slider in the population tab of the starting screen to zero and bulldoze the existing buildings. Bulldozing is free in this game.
Some people seem to be never happy with what modders make, they always want something more. Please have some more respect for the work of the modders, the more that the mods are free of charge for us.
Once more, thank you very much for this excellent work. One can never be enough grateful for what we receive.

Blitz4rd, I mentioned in my first comment, you have to use the open beta branch. The map contains things such as bauxite ores, mines and processing plants.
