here's a sandwich for the nice addon

If for some reason it still didn't work then make sure the addon file is downloaded in the workshop folder in your computer:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/workshop/content/4000/2222154782
(4000 is gmod's folder and 2222154782 is the addon's folder)
make sure there's a file inside the 2222154782, if there's a file there then copy it to:
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons
if not then please add me on steam so I can help by giving the files for the mod so you can place them in the addons folder.

In this case I would suggest to go to your steam library and right click on the gmod icon, go to properties/local files and click the "verify integrity of game files". The game will try to find an error and patch it.

If the first option didn't work then try clearing steam's download cache, in the steam launcher press the steam button located at the top left corner, settings/Downloads and in the downloads tab there must be a button named "clear download cache", press it and click ok.
Steam will close and you need to login in again.

i tried both of these, and the models still refuse to appear.

by restart the game, do you mean close out of the game and boot it back up? i tried re-entering a map with it and it still would not show up.

Try restarting the game with the addon installed, the game will make sure to install all the addons this way.

the models dont appear in my playermodel menu, i only wanted to use luigi but i couldnt find him
