Console command "cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor 85" 85 being how far away the gun is. Default is 51 i think. I use 85

And update audio cache? Don't you mean verify the game cache? Y'know, that button in the properties?

can't be. I made sure the sounds work flawlessly.
Plus the fact that you are the first and only one to report this issue makes me belive even more that the problem is on your end, not this mod.

Either way, update the audio cache, that'll fix it.
