I have run it with some of the Awesome mods with no issue it should work as long as the tech tree is intact.

Is it a different unit, or do all explorers get replaced with a hover version?

Hi. Might seem like a very left of field request... however I was hoping that you might be able to build a custom mod for me for Sid Miers Beyond Earth: Rising Tide? Basically the idea is to add a "vassal" player to the game.
It would be a simple mod where:

1. An enemy you are at war with offers peace terms automatically when they only have their capital city left where they will offer to become an unending ally with you (they cannot declare war on you, but you can still declare war and wipe them out if you want) and offer to give you tribute of 25 energy, and 2 of each resource each turn. They cannot declare war on anyone.
2. If you liberate a city and bring a dead player back to life, they automatically are the same as mentioned above - an unending ally with all the same conditions.

I would like to discuss how I can provide a donation to help you to develop this mod.

Hello. Seeing explore-able locations trapped in the ice while hover-tanks and submarines can access them with ease has been a HUGE bugbear of mine since the first time I played this game. (1,107+ hours so far) and I jumped for joy when I saw this mod. However, why not just made the normal explorer receive hover powers around the same time the tanks get theirs? And keep the alien capture and ability to fight? Because unless something has gone wrong with my version my hover explorers cant fight or leash aliens? I do like they move further and carry more pods, but again is this something that can be released with science or affinity? No idea why the developers never thought of such a simple solution. But thanks for the attempt. It was fun.
