@alexsncarr: In the Map Editor, go to 'File' (top left), click 'Publish', the window comes up. You see three fields at the top of the window, 'Title','Visibility' and 'Preview'.

It's in the 'Preview' field. You can change the thumbnail by clicking the '...' at the end of the field. This will open a new window where you can find and select whatever image you want as the thumbnail for the map.

How do you change the picture for the thumbnail of the map? I know how to upload photos with a map but can't see how I replace the C&C/Red Alert guy that is the default thumbnail.

@Caleidian, you're right, at some point into the mission inevitably, the trigger for that reinforcement will not work and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why.. but it's something to do with a rule/glitch/mechanic in the background, which is TIED with the glitch that prevents you from building a Nod vehicle from the Airstrip (the unit icon on the right menu will show as being 'Ready' but no Airplane will arrive to land the unit!)

So as a workaround, I've just created an opening to that ridge beyond the prison/tech center so you can proceed with the existing units you have from your base North to capture that Weapons Factory...

With regard to your save crashes.. that's just unfortunate.. something I really can't fix on my end... I would recommend to DELETE all of your existing save game files inside the game and start from scratch again! Thanks Caledian for the feedback :)

Oh one more thing though, it seems like if we don't rush to attack the blue base and just let the game proceed slowly until tibs are run out, the commando+engineer heli won't show up..
As if there's some kind of time limit to attack the blue base, so that the triggers are not conflicting or some sort...
Unfortunately it is very hard to attack early...especially when the obelisk still not ioned..

Thanks for the update!. Unfortunately I just experienced another weird crash..
So I've been trying to win this newly updated version, and after numerous saves, I finally dominate the blue base and proceed to the ridge. I put on standby every units I have on the ridge opening ready to attack the top left WF. But before that, I saved.
Then right after loading that last save point, if I immediately attempt to save under different save name, it crashed. Which is so weird. Because this is the first time I encounter crash upon attempting to save. Not after loading a save point.
But even weirder, if I load that last save point and keep playing, it didn't crash...

So confused...

After careful examination and taking into account the prior feedback, a small adjustment has been made to alleviate the issues at hand:

I've created an opening in the ridge just beyond the prison/tech center which allows the player access to move their forces North all the way, rather than be locked permanently in the South-West region, no longer having to rely on that reinforcement trigger (which I've tried to rectify to the Nth degree but with no luck unfortunately!)

I hope this rectifies everything for the player game flow! Thank you all! :steamhappy:

yeah happening to me also. I captured the prison, and nothing happened. Then I sold it and got some money, but nothing happened either.

Btw the random ion cannon also sometimes seem to not working.. after several times loading games, I notice that suddenly enemy's obelisk get ioned. Otherwise it would be impossible because all tib fields already mined out within the canyon..

Also, there's too few tiberium in the isolated area. Would be nice to just remove a small ridge to the left where the tib fields are, or to the north. So wasteful to isolate a perfectly good base in the canyon. my play style usually try to capture every building intact whenever possible in every mission.. :(

Ouch!! :/ Another handy suggestion would be to go into Load Game from Tiberian Dawn Main Menu screen and DELETE all your older save files manually! If you have a LOT of save files racked up over the last month or so! I had major issues trying to upload content and kept getting error messages and it all turned out to be those damn save files causing the whole thing!

Lol so replaying it worked! The spawn finally happened yay! However now the mission crashes everytime within 10 mins of building up my base on the other side :steamsad: I dont think the C&C gods want me to play this map lol

Once again, cheers! I'll try and find the route of that bug, perhaps Nyerguds (the C&C guru) can help with that! I'm currently patching all of the missions from 1 to 10 with additional screenshots etc, might even throw in an extra easter egg mission for the craic! Stay tuned ;)

Thank you AMBERLAMPS! :) after you destroy the Prison/tech center, a chinook of 4 engineers and a commando is reinforced just above on the ridge.. I’m guessing that didn’t happen right? Man I’ve been having major problems with this mission. There’s some kinda glitch that prevents the reinforcement. This is also tied into the disability of building Nod vehicles from the airstrip. It seems to happen inevitably at some point into the mission and I can’t figure it out. My advice is to replay the mission and reach the north prison camp as soon as you can. My apologies brother, but it is a definite glitch within the game.

Such an awesome series! Always great work. I just have a quick question on this map. Once I destroy the blue nod base to the north in the beginning, the flare for the GDI base reveals but I have no way of transporting any of my units there? Is a transport helicopter or reinforcements supposed to spawn and land up there? Im currently stuck and not sure what to do.
