oh ok thats fine Ill just have to do the leg work lol. What I was figuring was the job was already done so why reinvent the wheel. thank you anyways for the reply :D

This mod is pretty much abandoned. I didn't even make the code for the underbarrel weapons, only got permission to use it, so there's no hope in me fixing it.

Hey Itzal how are you. I had a quick question for you. Would it be possible to update the assemblies to be used in 1.4. I am working on a mod and it looked like your firemode selector would work perfect for what i need but the only issue is I cant use it in 1.4 or at least I have not been able to. heck maybe if possible just provide the source and I might be able to update it from there "I have it opened in dnspy and Ilspy but source code is easier to read😂" anyways I want to thank you for your time and have a great day.

Oh this is beautiful I didn't even know you could make this work in rimworld! You got the Zorg pod, the OICW, and the M16A3/M203 which will always remind me of predator. Any chance we'll see a working M41A pulse rifle ala Aliens? :D

Oh, might as well add that i'm not really that comfortable with using that mod you mentioned, it'd be nice but i'd have to remake all of the other guns in this pack, and that's something I don't wanna do. I also want this mod to require ass few stuff as possible, so that as many people can use it.

I'll try and fix the flamethrower later, it works fine on people at least.
Not sure where i'd start to to draw a gas projectile, honestly. I'll try, but no guarantees

I noticed a couple things that I forgot to mention. One is that the flamethrower doesnt seem to ignite inanimate objects like wooden doors, beds, etc. Two is that the Ice cube system has a very long range. I don't believe it would be able to shoot that far, as it's just nitrogen gas. Is it possible to change the sprite to something more gas like and reduce the range?

I would recommend looking at a mod called 'advanced munitions' by pyrofreak4321, he has a multi function weapon in that mod called a 'compensator rifle' which has multiple fire modes as well as different icons, it's really fun. That might help.

Ah, yeah, was referring to the first Universe Sandbox, my bad!


For the flamethrower, I can alter the projectile speed, i can easily half it or something.

For the Ice Cube System, i've noticed an error in the damage type, an easy fix tho. I'll also make it so that it has very high stopping power to slow down enemies slightly.

The icons, i can't do too much about, sadly. i'll have a look around to see if any other mod has added icons, but it seems unlikely to me.

And for the description, i an add a short description to what each firemode does, describing what damage each firemode does won't be possible because the weapon quality will change damage dealt.

I can't seem to find Universe Sandbox 2, I did however find part 1, which has a release date of Aug 24, 2015. Is that the one you're referring to?

There are a few small tweaks that I believe will make it more realistic, and not affect much. Here are what I've found, the flamethrower sprites seem too fast, and there could be more of them to make it feel more like a flamethrower. The Ice Cube System doesn't actually do cold damage, it seems to just do the same damage as the 3 burst. There are also the icons of the different functions, they're all the same picture of the pod gun itself, it would be helpful to have different icons representing the different fire modes, as well as perhaps a description in the text of the gun of ranges, and damage since the only range and damage described is the 3 burst. I have a few other ideas too but those are the most apparent.

My preference is towards Universe Sandbox 2 but that costs £24, If you want to get me something cheaper, Yakuza 0 works too.

As for polishing the gun, not sure what i can do, gotta make sure it doesn't get too OP or anything

I'd like to do that, gift you a game. Which one would you like the most? Would you also like to refine the pod gun a bit more? I think it could use some polishing. I have a few ideas on how to make it better if you're open to suggestions.

The difference between the arrows and the RPG is that the arrow do more damage, but have a smaller radius. They're also slightly more accurate. Gotta say it's been fun making a weapon that can do so much.

As for donations, Only one I can think of is maybe gifting me a game from my wishlist on steam, because i haven't got anything set up for donations.

Initial review of it is a little confusing. The icons for the different fire modes are all the same picture, so I'm not sure what range is associated with what fire mode. The ice cube system would look better as well if it used the flame sprite, but blue instead of red, and the range should also be the same as the flamethrower.

The explosive arrows and the rocket launcher seem to conflict, because why would you switch modes, when you have a much more powerful rocket over arrows? Unless there is something I'm not noticing. I think it would be much more useful to add the poison arrows instead, just because that could be a great non lethal option.
