Perhaps it's irrelevant but I'll say it anyway. I played as the Basques and migrated to Arabia. I can't build a gem mine in Aila, that one fishing town in Judea.

@johnathancage1 You are very wrong about the Bulgars in modern day Ukraine. At least read some history before writing something.

the factions names didnt change for instance rashidun caliphate is still called lakhmids and faction leaders names are missing i dont know what i did wrong

A thing I would like to see added is that the Khazar's, primarily their leaders, eventually would adopt Judaism to show their independence from the Orthodox Christianity of the Byzantines, Tengrianism of the Steppe peoples, paganism or the Slavs, ex..... In the game the Bulgar Kingdom is forced into Orthodox Christianity which doesn't make sense. If this can't be changed this is fine but please change the name of the Bulgar Kingdom to the Khazar's.

I have been playing this mod for around ten hours and I have one major historical gripe that I would like resolved. The Kingdom of the Bulgars never had a kingdom in what is now days Ukraine and the invading Hunnic tribe of the Khazars never existed. The territory that is controlled in your mod by the Bulgars was actually controlled by the Khazars. Please fix this. The Bulgars held territory off and on in today's territories of Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, ex.

Rachidum califat is always destroy. Dont need to combat them, just wait and he is destroyed, Even if i plug "stronger islam".

why does the nomad and arab factions have such huge garrisons?? this mod makes playing as the romans impossible

@Lü Bu ' many thanks! As INFO, there will be no more changes. In the meantime some minor issues were reported. In 634 are many Vanilla bugs fixed. The game runs stable. Unfortunately my laptop got destroyed and I lost my modding files.It is a high risk to touch the mod. The game itself got more instable with the new operation systems. CA never fixed anything for years now.

Sorry for the late response, @ryan3ellis - for me impossible, cause of technical matters and it makes no sense, the maps are not made for larger units. / @tlalocartl then they had problems with other factions. Any game is random and the chance that they expand up to spain is low.

@Hannibal - thanks for your nice feedback. However, CA made the game and I only changed some settings and added a bit. But the AI plays much better than Vanilla AI. Cheers!

@imperatorchristiani - I am sorry. I never played until Divine Victory. Maybe I did a wrong setting. However, I do not make new startpositions (victory conditions require this, and running campaigns remain unaffected). I lost data due to a destruction of my notebook and the mod is stable. The risk is too high for any changes.Feel as divine winner even you get no message!

It was fun playing the Caliphate, but I can't get a military and divine victory because even though I've built garrison quarters, the objective is still showing as unfulfilled.

@Anisvara - No worries. Hope no offence was taken, like I say I think it's a fantastic mod. It's just that I learn a lot from these games, even mods; and though I know no game should be judged for anything more than entertainment value, I find they help to give me a better understanding of the history and the challenges faced by historical characters.

@Ian Smithereens - right, the defenders of Aquae are based on a wrong map in Wikipedia which is meanwhile corrected. In 634 this is explained in faction description. The users love this faction. Nobody will correct it, because it would be a complex change in startposition with influence on the gameplay.

Hey, great mod. Just wondered how historically accurate the map is. On the 634 sister mod it states that the faction called 'defenders of Aquae' are anachronistic, something to do with a mix up about the state of Provence which did not really appear until the 900s. I'm not an expert in this field, but if this is the case, please could a version be put out correcting this?

@david - I reworked the namepool s for 634, which is much more advanced. All update energy I put to the 634 mod and fixed only some smaller bugs is 642 (Both games have much less bugs than Vanilla). Please enjoy 642 as it is. It was my first try to make a mod map. It is impossible for me to improve also 642. And at the moment I have absolutely no time to deal with updates. 919 pn AoC map is upcoming soon.

@qgmo2009 - installed with some probs,
1. The db cash settings for the dark shrine are:
att_bld_religion_other_1 att_effect_economy_gdp_culture building_to_building_own 900 450 0
It is OK
2. same for the tents, I responded in bug report
3. The slingers could miss cause you have not the Longbeards DLC. Unfortunately the testers without DLCs failed in this matter. In 634 I dublicated the all missing units later on, for 642 this is due to lack of time not possible.
The only idea I have is 12 tpy destroy the db settings. But this is CA matter, Attila is made for 4tpy, I do a 12 tpy tick when making the new startposition, and I have influence on the db settings. These are OK.

I need some time. My computer was recently destroyed, today I could install Attila, needed the whole day, I can start (Win11), but the something is wrong with the mods online.Tomorrow I install Thrones and then I can install the Software to view the mod settings, If you find more, please write it down. Maybe yoy should try the more advanced 634 version, link is in the mod description.

i mean when i check the income tab, there is no bonus from the building. just from my govenor who has a 20% added, and the only mods i have are this, the skin overhaul and the 12 turns per year.
