For some reason, all the cargo trams are coloured purple in my game. How do I fix that?

Da ich keine Konsole nutze habe ich keine Möglichkeit den Mod für Konsole zu testen und kann auch bei Konsolenbezogenen Problemen nichts ausprobieren/nachschauen. Deshalb ist das momentan nicht geplant.

Hallo Elli, irgendwie kriege ich deine Mod nicht zum laufen, vermutlich ein Denkfehler bei mir. Ich habe die Mod abonniert und heruntergeladen. Sie erscheint dann auch im Spiel im Hauptmenü unter "Mod-Browser" als abonniert. Jedoch in keinem laufenden Spiel erscheint die Mod. Was mache ich falsch?

I previously said the mod didnt appear on my computer. It was an issue on my end. The mod is perfecty fine.

It's already possible. You can acticate the railroad vehicles with mod parameters (see the last screenshot above).

The modname in the game is "Tram: Werksbahn" (german) or "Tram: Industrial Railway" (all other languages).
The first tram is available from 1880.

i downloaded the mod for my game and i have spent an hour or 2 on trying to get it to work and it doesnt work for me i need help
Basically i subscribed to the mod and my steam detects that i did but the game itself doesnt seem to detect i subscribed to the mod cause it doesnt show in the mods list in game
Any ideas on what i can do

There appears to be an issue where the trams get stuck in a traffic jam of some sort that I don't know how to deal with. It looks like if you have mutliple tram lines going into a station from opposing directions that they will get into a traffic jam and not deliver or pick up any goods. Any idea what's going wrong?

They are absolutly amazeing! However, I now have three catenary heights for 1000mm track. Is there a posibility, you could make a variant of the two electric locos with pantograph height for 5.5m catenary?

It looks like today's update to the game fixed the bad unloading behaviour, with vehicles now obeying the configured loading speed when unloading. There's still an error in the numbers, but it actually speeds up loading on the longer vehicles. No more traffic jams. Sorry to bother you with my misdiagnosis earlier for a problem that was the base game's bug.

I did some more testing with only your mod and Sandbox active, and the problem still happens. It looks like the loading speed that appears in the depot menu is per cargo compartment, as once purchased, 2-compartment vanilla vehicles have double their initially-displayed loading speed (for example, a ship displays 40x in the depot menu and has an actual loading speed of 80x in the vehicle info once purchased). Since your vehicles have even more compartments, the multiplier rises. Setting all of the loading speeds to 2x would have your intended effect of 2x per wagon.

PS. This affects your other mod as well.

The trams technically don't really have a loc and wagons like trains, trams are always one big vehicle. The wagons are just "fake". So it's not possible, that the game detect the wagons of the trams.
Maybe an other mod provoke this behavior (for example a capacity multiplier mod or something similar).

Awesome mod, the Ge 2/2 is definitely the best way to get stuff up and down mountains in the 1920s. However, there appears to be a bug with the loading speeds: you have the loading speed of each vehicle set to 2x the number of wagons, however this figure is already considered by the game to be per-wagon and is multiplied by the number of wagons, giving the 4 wagon vehicle a loading speed of 32x (the specified speed of 8x times 4 wagions), visible in the vehicle details once one is running and causing traffic jams.

About the question where to trtansport bricks, it is possible with both cars... so if you dont mind, just make it possible to transport it on flat and boxed cars. If you ask why: its easier to unload palets from a flat car than from a closed boxcar... its possible to but just stress... and i am driving forklift and wheelloader, so i know what i am talking about ;) but else: best and most usefull mod for this game!! Have a lot of cargo on tram insted trucks... often the train is just to expensive in relation to the transportamount, so the cargotram fits well between. Have you plans to make more cargotrammodels? eventually 4 axle cars and more modern locos? i mean, your cargotram feels like a narrowgauge line ^^ so some modern locos and cars would be very nice....

Yes, it's intended that the construction material gets transportet with the covered cars in this mod.
The reason is, how the game illustrate the model of the construction materials in tpf2. In tpf1, the construction material model is some long pipes, there it made sense to transport it with flat wagons. But in tpf2, the model for the construction materials is a palette of bricks, then it makes no sense for me to transport this with a flat car.

Hi! Nice mod! They look really cute moving about! However, I noticed the wagons are not like the train wagons: construction materials don't go in the trams' stake wagons but in the covered ones; is this intended?

The train variants are the same vehicles, but for railroad tracks instead of tram tracks.
For the passenger variants, you can try it in the game ;)

Again: the message about the mod parameters is not an error, it's just a note for you. You can ignore it, if you want, You have no disadvantage, when you ignore it.
I uploaded a new picture you see, where you can set the mod parameters.
The part of the eatglobal_v2_26.lua in you message has nothing to do with this mod. This mod don't include this lua file and it don't use it. What "wrong parcel order" means, I don't know, but i'm pretty sure, this has nothing to do with this mod.

That message about my mod is not an error, it's just a note. The game lose sometimes the mod parameters, which you can set in the mod menu. But it's not fatal, when you don't reset the parameters.
Your problem is probably with the eatglobal_v2_26.lua, which has nothing to do with this mod.

I love these cargo tram mods, they are so useful with big city's. with the train versions of these one though, dose anyone suggest a track mod to make use of them? I know they can run on normal tracks but it looks goofy, plus I would love to make a true NG line to get res trough mountain pass's

In Kombi mit den Gleisen unglaublich gut nutzbar. Kurzstreckenverbindungen in Städte oder Industrie zu Güterbahnhöfen mache ich nur noch damit.
Und nebenbei: Mega "knuffig" an zuschauen.

I guess these vehicles have the potential to set my other cargo trams on my long range routes free for other routes. All these shorter cargo trams lead to heavy traffic at the bottelnecks around my capital city. Less but longer vehicles might solve this issue now
