The idea is that the intense solar activity creates a sort of haze that glows in the night. Just using my imagination on this one.

The passive vent is meant to provide the difficulty of not exploiting a vacuum during the heat of the day.

Can someone explain to me how I am going to get the furnace to work with a vent pass? It's no use, it won't turn on!

No problem, I've played most of your worlds on a Stationer difficulty with food and water at 1. Its not a water problem but a starting condition problem I'm having because you need a room/air lock to eat and drink in and at a 1 rate that happens quick to get a vent and O2. Pretty sure 1 more canister of O2, 2 pipe segments and swap the passive vent for an active is the answer. 5 is to easy once you know the game. Anyway thanks checking it out.

I'll investigate the water situation. But if played right, you're supposed to build a big enough room that you open up during the cool of the morning before the sun rises. Then close the room just before sunrise. The room should heat slow enough that you don't need to vent out. I don't make promises that any of my worlds are survivable on hunger/thirst rate 1.0. The game default is 0.5. Do note that this world was created long before thirst was introduced and long before the re-balancing that affected suit a/c and heating exploits.

When it was designed did you consider Stationers Difficulty with hunger/water use set to 1 in mind. Kinda impossible without at least 1 active vent a couple more pipe segments and and extra bottle of O2 for a safe room. I've tried a lot, I really like this world but its impossible to get enough oxygen and the vent fast enough.

Really really good. I loved all the changes you've made. Even after you've added 10 secs to the mining time, on day 2 i had a vacuum base with a water bottle filler. Also enjoyed the snow weather event. Thanks a lot for this update.

I've updated Vega again. You'll start with a portable MKII water canister. I also made adjustments to the terrain and mining time. It is significantly more difficult to crack open the ore veins, since the terrain is made of blue quartz. I've also added storms (solar flares), which can reach a temperature of 6000°C and will pop your O2 tank in seconds of exposure.:steamhappy: The first storm occurs after 3 days and repeats after every 3-6 days.

The terrain is good and resources great. Really good replacing the fruits/vegetables by seeds but i did noticed one bottle of water may not be enough to survive before building the landing platform. Without water, seeds are completely useless. And if you need to build the landing platform for water, you will also be able to get seeds from traders. Also after playing for a while i noticed there are no weather events. Could you please add some weather event and see what you can do about the water situation? Thank you

I've updated Vega starting conditions. Increased drop quantity of gold. I'm sorry I could not restore the terrain color to the original. Since the developers replaced the Europa terrain to the thick blue color, the ability to make the terrain white has been lost.

Since water is being removed from world atmosphere, this mod will need to be updated (along with all the mods, rip me.)

Кругом одни зубья скал. Надо осмореться сверху. Облом, джетпак не заправлен. Скотина сержант. Хорошо, что в инвентаре? Что за бред? Где монтируемая солнечная панель? Где хавчик? Где запасные батарейки? Зачем мне три трубы, радиатор и стакан... пассивный вентилятор, то есть? До самогонного аппарата еще дожить надо.

Похоже, меня всё-таки уволили. Я в аду, терзает сушняк, в руках коробка с личными вещами. Там привычный камуфляж, срочно надеваем - два слота лишними не будут. Инвентарь традиционно забит каким-то хламом, ну и забьем пока. А чем порадует нас посадочный мо... что за? Нет... Они не могли так поступить. Может, хоть завалящий контейнер где-то рядом? Коробка? Баллон с кислородом? Нет, только некопанный пейзаж и куча кремния. Похоже, инвентарь - всё, что у нас есть.

A good, cruel challenge. No Lander behind you - only what you have in your inventory. Jetpack canister is empty. All tools are Emergency edition - you cannot recharge your starter Welder and need to count every welding, grinding and drilling you made. No stationary solar panel - only poor portable trefoil at start. Spare Large battery cell? Noobish Arc furnace for bootstrapping? Mommy's tomato soup? Oxygen tank? Don't make me laugh. Grab your guts and quickly build your first shelter before local sunrise will roast you.

PS. I forced to change Water quantity in atmosphere from 1/1000 to 1/64 moles per grid (it seems current game version just lacks of 'float' precision for such a small numbers) and MaxSunIntensity from 11 to 1.4 (due to overglowing visual problems in daytime even in shelter). All other condition are hardly but surviveable.
