I really enjoyed the mod, i was thrilled how seamless it feels like the original game.
However i seem to be stuck on Mark Three. Did i miss the clue? Evelyn wants to open up things now and i tried everything i can think of to make it happen. There are so many dead people burried, some in the autopsy of the Bureau.
What do I do? Can someone give me a hint how to get to Mark Four?

I checked it. The other ascensions require 36 Edge. So I need to get, "A Resolution" the Highest Edge influence in the game, which means I somehow need to learn how to get two of them. "A Resolution" cannot be obtained by dreaming like you can with "A Furious Air."

Hi POSTAL Chad, its possible the hint recipe isn't working, but I haven't had any bug reports about the ascension overall. It is similar to the base-game legacies; I don't recall exactly how much edge is required though. For load order, the lower-down the list the mod is, the less likely it is to be overwritten by other mods. I'm pretty sure none of my mods overwrite each other, but coordinating with other modders and mods can be tricky.

P.S. Should I also have The Veteran above the Load order of Any other legacy?

Is the ascension the same as Forge, Grail and Lantern? Because when I reach Mark 6, and try to do a Great Work, I don't get the Great Work text. Does it only pop up after I get 36 or More Edge Aspect? Or is one of the other legacy mods overriding it? Also, I am sure I fixed the load order of the mods.

The game is soft locked after initiating doctor's office event in work.

Health is infinitely increasing in this event, any attempt to reload the game resulted in corrupted save. I have purged previous save several times before I retried, yet they return the same result.

神奇的木砸, are you talking about at the very beginning? It should start new recipes in the other tiles. I just tested and it worked fine for me. Are you using any other mods besides my mods and the required mods?

Returning nearly 2 years later to confirm that this is probably my favorite Cultist Sim mod, it fits so deliciously.

It is as fixed as can be with the current state of the built-in modloader. The Veteran has to be loaded AFTER achieve integrations, and the load order is currently determined by the order you subscribe to mods in the Workshop. So if you're still experiencing the issue, you'll need to make sure you're subscribed to Achieve Integrations, then unsubscribe and resubscribe to the Veteran, and that should fix the issue

is ascension: unmaking, (specifically the third mark) still bugged? cannot dream or work on it anymore, and while it is grabbed in the season of ambition (or whatever its called) ascension unmaking is returned without any change or restlessness.

you mentioned in the comments this was a bug with achieve integrations. was this fixed?

I was hoping a patch would come before it caused any problems for anybody. I'm not sure how many people use the Chinese version, and I'm hesitant to remove it from the mod. But you could go to the mod folder and delete the localization folder, which should let it load in English at least. I'm at work right now, but can find the directory information for you when I'm home later today.

Hey inquisitor mendoza; this is due to a bug in how the mod loader handles localization files that the modding community only recently came across. When the mod doesn't have a translation that matches the game's current language settings, it loads whichever translation file is alphabetically last. Since the mod DOES include a Chinese translation (zh) that loads last, and the Chinese characters aren't recognized, so they become squares.

That bug is sort of fixed; as fixed as it can be with current bugs that exist in Cultist Simulator's mod loader at present. I'll add clearer instructions to the mod page; I forgot to do that. But essentially, the bug can be fixed by changing the load order of your mods, since the bug is a result of a mis-interaction between The Veteran and Achieve Integrations. Unfortunately, Cultist Simulator loads mods in the order you subscribe to them on Steam, and doesn't let you change it. So you need to unsubscribe from The Veteran and Achieve Integrations, and then make sure you subscribe to Achieve Integrations FIRST. This way other mods load later, and overwrite Achieve Integration's default recipes. This is true with almost every mod that requires Achieve Integrations. Give that a try and see if it helps.

Ah, yes. I should probably remove that link. The developer of Apostle Secerno removed his mods, and I haven't been in touch with him since. My gut says it unfortunately won't be returning :/

Thanks for getting back! I've noticed that the incident regarding the Medal isn't consistent, almost like it tries for a %-chance for an event to occur, and then another %-chance for an event, and then if both fail, nothing.

Hey Khiash, thanks for letting me know. Do you get the bug for no ending text every time you talk with the medal? I haven't been able to consistently reproduce the medal bug; there's something weird there, but it seems to work most of the time for me. That medal system is one of the first things I ever developed, and its janky, so I'm hesitant to go changing things in there for fear of breaking it.
Ambitions is different. I'm only getting the bug after the Third Mark; it seems to be an issue caused by the most recent update of Achieve Integrations. I'll be reaching out to the developer to see if it can be resolved. In the meantime, I have the previous version of Achieve Integrations uploaded (with permission) to Nexus Mods. If you download it from there and install it locally instead of through Steam, that should fix it for now. Here's a link [www.nexusmods.com].

I seem to be having issues with this mod. Putting the Medal in Talk begins a timer, but ends with no ending text. Additionally, when A Season of Ambition grabs the Ascension card, it ends after the 10s timer, again with no ending text.
My only other installed mod is AchieveIntegrations.

To alexrkseth's post, it was the DIY mod causing the problem. I wanted to run that with this legacy specifically so I could use my stats + summons instead of my cult members for expeditions, but it would crash when visiting the doctor.

Good to know! I've been meaning to make time to check other legacies to see what, if anything, I can do to increase compatibility, but haven't had the time lately to do so. In the meantime, mods that use Achieve Integrations as a core mod are more likely to be compatible than those without it, since its purpose is to keep mods from overlapping. I'm hoping more modders start to use so people can play with more mods at once

Alexrkseth, I'll look through some of those to see what I can do. I don't think many of those will be overwriting the ambition recipes, but a couple stand out to me as ones that could be. In the meantime, I recommend removing any other mods with ascensions to see if that fixes it.

Sharmanix, you're experiencing a full game crash? I'll look into it. I've got long shifts these next few days, but I'll try to get on it as soon as I can. A copy of the player log can be helpful when diagnosing crashes, so if I need one I'll come back and let you know.

I've taken all my mods out exept the Exlie overhaul mod but it keeps crashing when the 'speak to the doctor' completes

Besides your mods and the required I have mind control, more ingredient applications, farmer, shirtless Laidlaw, vagabond's recollection, Lady of Roses, DIY, Hoxton's followers, the Apostle legacies, Kurobazanka's legacies, and looping jobs.

Just double checked on mine, and it seems to be working properly. What other mods are you running? I've tried to make my mods as compatible as possible, but some other mods aggressively overwrite properties, which makes it incompatible no matter what I do.

I'm playing the legacy for the first time, so maybe I'm missing something. I'm at ascension: unmaking at 3 marks and when the season of ambition takes it in, it says i have the needs of a normal mortal. I was just wondering if this is how it's supposed to be or if maybe one of my other mods is conflicting with it. Thanks :)

This is a top notch legacy. I wish there was more like these, that start with a malius that you overcome.

The legacy provided by this mod plays much like those in the base game, but I rather enjoyed being able to ascend using the Edge aspect outside of the Exile game mechanics. In particular, I really like the additional early game challenges created by beginning the game with Decrepitude and rebuilding my war-ravaged character. This is the second mod Ive played from this author and really appreciate their efforts!
