RolleyPovey I have just been offered a book on the UK Railways Maps only, so maybe that will have what I wanted.

I don't know where I would find a one for 1850, however https://www.railmaponline.com/UKIEMap.php is the ideal source for all the railways, and I have made a huge list of the chronological opening dates of all the railways if you want me to filter it out for the ones in this area pre-1850?

I remember that original map too! I loved it, which is why I wanted to re-make it for this game.

Excellent, I did the same area on the original Transport Fever.
