why does heir education progress seem to decrease overtime, i know there are events that influence this but it seems to be decreasing regardless of events, if this is an intended mechanic where can i find the info for the decrease

Hello guys, tried FEE both standalone than with the whole EMF and had no crash with that event

so I suggest doing a clean install and we can proceed from then (:

I don't know the mod in particular...
but FEE is self-contained and the only problem would be with GUI at max, not content.

Cultural Hegemons are in the Diplomatic Tab
Heir Education are in the Court Tab

So they don't overlap, it's likely another mod [not from the Expanded Mod Family you can see above]

There is a problem with the gui. The mod Peace Treaties Expanded blocks the gui education of the heir, and as I understand it, this is related to the gui of cultural hegemons, how can the problem be solved, which files are responsible for this?

if the mod is correctly installed [ask Steam to reinstall it] then the problem must be another mod overwriting the Court GUI

from the Court Interface, nearby your heir there should be a bar, if not there it means you are also using a mod that overloads that GUI

Ok, I checked and
0. We reduced the amount of opinion to just 25/-25
1. No max value [means you can get +200 and -200 with the same country, but realistically only +50/-50 per fair]
2. They last only 10 years [so shouldn't overlap between fairs since each they have at least 10 years cooldown]

so let's say best RNG possible

First Fair:
+50 [cause they accept your invitation and you accept theirs]

Second Fair (less than 10 years from the first)
+50 [cause they accept your invitation and you accept theirs]

which means the max it would be either -100 or +100 per country
But the median would be -50 or +50 per the duration of the fair [if the banquet is created etc]

Ok, i haven't tried with the very latest version but when i first used the mod 1 version ago i ended up with all the modifiers stacking and not expiring so i have kept the fairs turned off since then.

Are the trading fairs supposed to keep stacking opinion modifiers until all countries have -200 relations with their neighbours or do they expire at some point?

if it changes vanilla provinces ID
- you might have an event about the province of Naples firing for La Plata

remove random negative unavoidable events like grunewald hunting lodge event FR. super dogwater my 15 year old 5/5/6 emperor now has a game ruining debuff until he dies.

This will also work if you have no DLC at all since we check for DLC ownership in the mod.

We might have fixed a few here and there obviously, nothing is perfect, but we do acknowledge for it to create the less friction possible.

Triggering it is based on a random chance based when a new heir is created for country below 150 total development [only one can be at the same time]

@Melvasul sorry, just wanted to report, it is not your mod, it is in combination with the Development Point mod.

Sorry for the wrong Report, but I was looking for a culprit, but fyi there seems to be some hickup with the development points mod that is made for EE

Ok so this is interesting, two things

1) When did you observe this bug, from startup or?

2) This mod does not interact with the voting system, the one that does it is Holy Roman Empire Expanded

Though I found an Issue with europa expanded, this somehow breaks the HRE voting. Thought maybe I inform you :) I will also inform the EE dev.

incompatability with the newest version of europa expanded, mostly with events and stuff regarding to the angevin tree, though i wouldnt be surprised if there were more issues elsewhere

Almost all Theocracies fall in the "Non-Hereditary" category, which mean the education will be automatically assigned once the heir comes to ruling (:

The "automatically" is based on:
- level of Legitimacy Equivalent, Corruption and other static modifiers
- Chosen idea groups etc.

The Hereditary government types instead have the whole process
- once heir reaches 5 years old you can choose education
- every X months there will be events about education [improve, failure, etc.]
- once heir comes to ruling you will see the effect of the Education

Now the problem would be with the M&T changes to map etc which might make some events "misfire" :D
