To counter this, I have decided to be a disruptive little man and start sort of a revolution. Do not update your mod. Instead, upload the files to dropbox or whatever, and post this message on the description, so everyone knows that everyone is pretty pissed about this.

Hey I wanted to ask your permission to use your assimilation event in my mod, "Colonialism Advanced." I have been asked my some of my subsribers to create such an event and I could rewrite the script myself although it would still be similar to yours. I would like to use your event "Assimilation" and list you as a contributer so that you gain credit where credit is do. Thanks again and great mod btw, actually your mod is what inspired me to put my own spin on things.
I've been unable to code properly a condition where it'll inherit only the provinces adjacent to non-overseas nations owned by the colonial parent... I spent 5 hours trying to do it with provincial modifiers and events. All in vain. Did you manage to get that working properly?
Go for it man. I've not had time to do any work on it in a long while. Hopefully you can do something good with it.
