This is one of the must-have mods for this game, yet it direly needs an update at some stage for the latest EUIV.

I hope the modmaker is aware of how amazing their work is =)

i can now confirm it, country titles appear when you start the game not in the setup

When I tried tio play this mod with the non english localisation (i'am playing in French), Hungary was called "Kingdom of Scotland"

On that note; would you be able to tell me the proper file in Dynamic Names that I could edit to perhaps make the optional colonial nation mod compatible?

Great mod; can't play the game properly without it now.

However it appears to clash with a mod I use for Optional Colonial Nations; they use the title "C01" when they form, but rapidly amend their name to a new colonial region. However with this mod installed it reverts to the old C01 moniker shortly thereafter.

While this mod is fantastic there is a notable issue with the Angevin Empire if you are a republican goverment after uniteing and intergrating France the name does not update acordingly as after all you are no longer an empire.

Hey! This mod is fantastic, it is exactly what I lack about EU4 (I play Vicky2 too, so I always thought this was needed). Anyways I'm kinda not happy with Ottomans being ranamed to Turkish Empire. It's just bad in my opinion, is there any way to change that?

I had no idea I should reset the names before uninstalling the mod. Now my game is super messed up. Names on my save file are a mess so I got the mod back.

It's enabled but old save file still gets the broken mess and new save files get the vanilla names.
The save file is detected as compatible but when I load it I still don't have the "update country name event, no matter if it's old or new.

How can I fix this issue?

After I turned off this mod, name's of state's didn't change to vanilla (f.e turkey, Teutonia, etc)

For some reason when I started colonizing as Qing every colony of every nation gets renamed to Chinese Republic

I've declared Empire as Poland - formed Commonwealth and got stuck on "Duchy of Poland and Lithuania" :|

Could you please add the names to localized file versions? atm i only get the engine's internal tag name with the german version of the game so it's unusable :/

(To clarify: I do not expect you to translate everything into any language, just add the english stuff to other languages' versions of the files you add, so the game loads it at all)

Ive noticed a country go from Duchy of to just its name, even though it was still a duchy. Is there a limit on how big they are before their names change? It did lose some land but that was it.

I love the idea of this mod, but I'm running into a problem, that I hope is easy to remedy. I imported a CK2 campaign, and many of the kingdom-tier countries in the HRE are being named as a duchy.

For example, "Duchy of Hungary", "Duchy of Sweden", etc. They are even kingdom rank in EU4, and even have kings as the current ruler.

I tried using the decision to recalc the names, but it doesn't seem to fix it.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong, or what part of the mod's code I can look at?

Oh, than i guess it is another mod, the biggest problem is the game wont even load, i´m stuck on creating check sum when the game is in loading screen

It's working with Governments Expanded on my end, probably another mod. If it's the automatic name updates that are broken you can force it by decision, not really anything I can do as file conflicts like that are basically unavoidable if you're running a large pack.

I have the same problem as Zipzopdippidybopbop, with the lengthening chain of REVOLUTIONARY's in the name. Is there a fix for that? I've been playing a megacampaign and the long names are a little tricky to import into Vic2.

would such a mod work for players changing the name of their nation on the fly? i mean being able to type a name in for it, would be cool for multiplayer!

Yes actually, that example is in the mod already, but I'm currently working on adding it to every govt form. Ran into some issues :steamsad: which is why I've not updated in a while, but it should be done soon-ish.
