Animated structures now use a separate blueprint texture and cannot be wrapped to avoid related errors in the animate tool dll

Why is this mod so big? Does it include the source code, lots and lots of textures, PaintShop raw images, raw sound files...?

These sound amazing. I want to give this a try in my next playthrough.
But the mod description does not say, so I'll ask:

I would assume that the 13+ structures / devices and vehicle this mod adds can be built or crafted by the player. But is there any research needed to unlock them? Do they need one or more Techprints [rimworldwiki.com] to unlock? Can any of these be bought (perhaps in minified form) from traders? If so, what kind of traders?

Since most of these things sound more than slightly OP to me, I would think that a majority of them should be either locked behind research, require techprints, require a part that's hard to obtain, or could only be obtained through quest rewards or traders or something (i.e., not crafted/built). That's just my opinion, though.

Since 1.3, there has been some change in the graphic rendering output method, causing a problem with the animation function dll.
When playing with dev mode enabled, structures with animation effects will infinitely generate harmless error messages if the blueprint queue exists on the map.
There is currently no proper solution, so it is cumbersome to mess up the log window, but please understand.

I noticed after posting that some of the turrets appear in multiple researches. Not used to objects requiring different researches to acquire. Is that mentioned anywhere? I don't see it.

Certain buildings with similar roles or themes have been consolidated into one drop-down category in the menu tab for low-resolution players.

The great communicator is tied to melee turrets(such as Spining Blade, Pencil) and CIA Sat Uplink is tied to other manable auxiliary turrets(nano welder, DSP dispenser). Have you completed all the research conditions required for each building? I can't see the omission occurrence.

So I am trying to find several of the buildings and I can't seem to locate them. Things like the CIA Satellite thing and the great communicator. I have looked under every single icon in the VOSB menu.
