it whould be cool if you made an character pack you used on this campain all of them looks super cool and i wish i could use it on sandbox

Sorry ppls, I've been super busy lately and I haven't worked on any mods for a bit. For now, just skip to the next level. If I remember right there should be a skip option in the dialogue, if that isn't there you can use the debug menu to win the level.

For defeating the boss, just keep in mind he takes damage whenever in a ragdoll state, so get him to the ground.

The rock section isn't disabling vsync, but it does look like that due to the way I handle moving the rocks. Basically each rock is getting moved every 5 frames instead of every one frame, which leads to a bit of jankiness. I might make a video when I'm done the campaign to show ppl how to complete it. But hey Drizzt? If you want to tackle the second level again but just do the last bits, press P on the keyboard. I haven't taken out my debugger yet ;)

this may not even be the last bit actually - but i can't beat it, certainly not at the moment - sorry that i can't give you feedback on the whole level, but the platforming was really good, really difficult but knowing that it could be beaten by just getting the jumps and grabs right meant i kept trying till i did it - but the section i got to after that (which i suspect is not yet the end) i've been constantly dying due to what seems to be random luck - so i'm going to have to surrender for the moment
but bravo on all the unique features, and the platforming was rock hard but fair

don't take this the wrong way, but there's got to be at least a little part of you that is feeling a certain amount of pride that you have built a set of obstacles that will make grown adults cry, especially since once they have gotten past a certain point they must then keep playing till they complete the level, because if they quit (to sleep, eat, sit in a corner and stare into the abyss), they know they will have to start at the bottom again, and there is at least one obstacle that they cannot face having to beat again, but they know they will have to, because now they have too much invested to not see what is at the top (after this effort it had better be peace on earth and a cure for all woes!) - so yeah, well done for making the titanium laminated with kevlar of all platforming sections! :-)

and i shall wait to tackle the platforming again when the new update hits (will give my wrists a chance to recover lol)

Congratulations! Just so you know, there isn't any fight yet. The level currently ends just after the end of the platforming section, just before the first boss fight. I'm actually creating that boss fight right now. At the moment, the only reward you get for completing the platforming is some text telling you what will be coming up ahead once I update the level. (And a picture of the kitten that was the reason for me not completing the map jam in time)

but really awesome level, many thanks for making it (and for making me work so hard for it ;-))
i am so impressed with the 4 maps i have seen for this map jam - all 4 showing completely different aspects of what can be achieved with the engine - side scrolling fighter, stealth assassination, arena fighter and hardcore platformer (plus cool story and characters and the unique boat thing :-))

Seriously, the feeling is awesome - i'm literally out of breath.
Really smart bit of platforming - forces the player to understand how the wall jumping mechanic works for repeated jumps and really nail that timing.
Will let you know when i get to the end (or if it turns out that i also really suck at fighting ;-))

Hey thanks! :-) no need to make the platforming any easier on my account - it was an awesome challenge and i'm almost there - just that damn overhang to beat! :-)
Is good to know that i know i can make it up there, and the technique i need to use - also you have inspired me to add a prince of persia sands of time type level to the metal gear solid and tenchu stealth assassin levels that i've been dreaming about building (that is, if i had some artistic talent instead of just basic coding skill lol :-))
Gonna give it another 20 minutes and if i still haven't beaten it i shall do some more space engineers and then return ;-)

Drizzt you got this! If you get to the top of that tower there will be a checkpoint, you can do it. In the next update I will be making the platforming a bit easier, but that'll be a few days from now most likely.

will stop filling up your comments section and provide feedback once i have actually completed the level and earned the right! (seriously that's some hardcore platforming gaming! it makes the one or two hard jumps in the main campaign seem soft like cream cheese :-))

ok - got up to that wooden platform in record time - if i fall down this tower again there may be tears.... (but i'm too invested to give up anymore, i will be here till it is done!!!) :-)
(also it is a great lesson on the technique and timing required for the wall jumping mechanics)

ah you think too much of me (and i was worried that maybe my description of where i got to wasn't clear enough), i mean the first tower with the big wall jump - only managed to get to the first wooden platform once (got so close so many other times) - hoping there's another checkpoint near there once it make it a little further up
gonna try again some more now so i am not such a loser :-)
seriously it's like prince of persia for pros (pirates of persia?) :-)

Hate to say it Drizzt but everything past the bottom of the tower is unfinished - it's just an unlit arena up there. I do have the mechanism for getting up the tower finished. It's an elevator, activated by a green button that can only be pressed down with Fuzzy's weight on it. If you want to try this out, just run at Fuzzy until he is pushed onto the button. The elevator will immediately begin to rise and you can hop on, but you won't find much waiting for you at the top, I'm still working on that content. The idea was that after you defeat Fuzzy you drag him onto the button.

That ship minigame, very cute. :)
However the parkour was beyond devilish, thanks for including a checkpoint system.
But I think I've seen that move where you have to grab onto a ledge that's further out already before.

ok - i'm taking a break - but i'm going to make it up that damn tower if it's the last thing i do! :-)
looking forward to the next bit of the story - had some chuckles, not least of which was the explanation for how they got past those rocks :-)
and that first gameplay bit was interesting from a "how cool that you did that with the engine" point of view, but as you say, that bit is still a work in progress (at least a few near to no win scenarios generated on the dozen or so times i tried) - but still something unique
anyway, really excited to see what's up the top of that tower, will let you know once i've made it up there :-)
