Also, do they play well with curves and angles, or is it best to stick with rectangles?
@propermike also thanks for your response. When I watched your videos I wasn't sure if you needed the emergency call phones to enable emergency service vehicles to get into the structure or something.
It's probably something like that. I did some more testing and the game has no issues with a single layer of roads at any elevation, only when they are stacked at 3m intervals. Also you can plop or load the same asset multiple times and the game will mangle it differently each time. To me this confirms the asset is saved properly, it's just the game messing it up in a random manner. Too bad, I would have loved to put my parking garage design on the workshop.
On the bright side, I love building with these roads, and (re)building each parking garage instance manually has already lead to some creative results that I probably would not have made otherwise
